We're currently looking for volunteer moderators for both the site and Discord server.
Volunteer moderation is an act of love. This position requires someone who wants to help the community grow and is more about leading members to the right information than anything else.

Responsibilities Include;

•  Helping our community members locate information, guides, and activities.
•  Answering questions about Keepers of Eniv, our activities, prompts, and events.
•  Defusing tense situations.
•  Reporting abusive behavior and rule breaks to the admin staff.
•  Being a good H.O.S.T. to our community (Helping Others and Saying Thanks).

What we're looking for;

•  Fun, upbeat people who have a passion for ARPGs and SIM games. 
• Individuals who are understanding, patient, and upholding our core values.
•  The ability to guide someone to resources without being condescending or getting openly frustrated.
•  Strong written communication skills are a must.
•  People who are not afraid to ask questions of other staff members when they’re unsure themselves.
   

There is a mandatory training session that lasts about an hour and a half, which is done over VC in our Discord server.

We're only looking for one or two people as of now, and will bring on more as the game grows.

It's Time!

Welcome Kickstarter Backers!
It's time for early access to the site. We're working on getting the emails out and communicating with everyone about their rewards. There are a few notes we'd like to address for the game in early access;

Timeline

August 1st (today) is the day we open for our Kickstarter backers.
We're expecting there to be a few fixes as far as bugs and quality of life updates during this period of higher player activity.
We'll also be adding in a few more features, genes, and accessories, though that's to be expected going forward for the life of the game.
In terms of staff, we'll be looking at the weight load of our current player base vs our expected player base and will hire as needed.

September 2nd we'll be opening for more members and continuing to do this in waves so we can adjust the gameplay, staff level, and economy as needed.

Going forward, we'll be doing monthly updates (as well as weekly site updates) to let everyone know our plans going forward.

Bugs

And now for getting into the site itself!
The game is still early access to there will likely be a few bugs. If you come across one, please don't keep it to yourself. Let us know and earn the Buggy Achievement!
"Bugs" can be code not working correctly, a 404 or 500 error, or even an image missing from the site.
If you think you've come across a bug that is something like an image missing, please refresh first to make sure it's not an error in the loading or the browser.

As a note, we are still in the process of uploading a few of the traits to go with the items that were recently uploaded, but they should be available soon today.

Registration Keys

We're starting to go through the surveys and sending out registration keys and rewards.
If you haven't yet, please fill out your survey so we can contact you regarding your account and rewards.

Happy monday ladies, theydies and gentlefriends!

A big thank you for joining us for our game's Early Access opening!

As many of you know, yesterday was day 1 of our Early Access launch, and we’ve been sending out registration keys to all of our Backers from Kickstarter. We had a pretty great start, squashing bugs and shaking off some of the cobwebs from our WoE staffing days.

We have a few things to go over today, so let's just jump right into it.

Tips for new members

With so many of our members being new to the features we've added, we assembled some quick tips for players to help them jump start their gameplay!

• Don't forget to check out your Daily Loot Box! You can find that and other activities to do under the World Map. If you stay current and can do it consistently each day, you'll be awarded very rare prizes! Along the way you'll receive a bunch of useful crafting/research items, and some accessories, traits, and maybe even some other, more exclusive things...
• Once you have your first Enivi created and approved, adopted, or imported, you can start completing prompts! These can be found under the World menu. They each award currency, exp, and or a combination of items!
• As you go through the world, you'll collect items and can begin crafting new and improved gear, items that let you change your Enivi's colors/markings, and get a better feel for your Enivi themselves.

Art Pack Updates!

Yesterday we realized we overlooked a key detail for the art packs under resources, and how they're best utilized by our members. We've made some steps to improve things for everyone:

• We've begun adding transparent .png versions of each trait/marking/item.
• We'll continue to have .psd files with masking layers available to help folks who have programs which keep the masking layer settings when importing a .psd file.
• Our .psd and .png files alike will still be organized by marking/trait, so that they're easy to find.

We'd also like to make a few suggestions for folks who don't know where to begin when choosing an art program, and who are maybe entirely new to the idea of digital artwork.

Some free art programs which are frequently used in ARPG communities:

• The Gimp (A surprisingly robust free program. The GIMP has been the opensource community's answer to Photoshop since the 90s.)
• Fire Alpaca (Doesn't import the masks, but can handle PNGs just fine!)
• Medibang (Known for being a great program for comic and manga inspired art!)
• Krita (A frequently well-loved program of choice for many artists, both new and experienced.)

Some program suggestions for folks who are okay buying them and would like even more suggestions:

• Clip Studio Paint (Comparable to Photoshop in capabilities, but considerably cheaper. The less upgraded version runs 50 USD normally, but they have 40-80% off sales 2-5 times a year.)
• Photoshop (A classic. Most folks know of it, and it's hard to find a program with as large a community. But Photoshop can be expensive.)
• Corel Painter (Another big name! Expensive but impressive paint blending.)
• ArtRage (Much cheaper option!)
• Paint Tool SAI (Another much cheaper option.)

There's so many more as well! Apps like Procreate are brought up often, especially when folks discuss drawing on their mobile devices. 

There's a lot of different features that vary between each of these, but just about any program that can handle transparency and layers should be able to help you use the art packs. :D

Adoption center additions.

• We had some new additions to The Adoption Center yesterday! There’s still some Enivi left waiting to go to good homes. Take a look if you haven’t and see if any strike your fancy! 
• Periodically throughout the month we’ll restock The Adoption Center with new Enivi! These could be cheap-to-adopt Enivi with common traits, or these could even be much more expensive Enivi with traits that can go up to Legendary.
• If an Enivi isn’t adopted within a few days of being put up, they might leave and return at another date. So if there’s one you’ve had your eye on for a few days, be sure to grab them sooner rather than later. They might go try their luck somewhere else!

Upcoming traits / markings / items, and more tips!

• For anyone who has a Druaesi MYO we have a bunch of new traits uploaded for the Druaesi in particular! This clan uses it’s own specialty traits, which other clans sometimes are unable to utilize. It gives a lot of opportunity for unique looks amongst your herd.
• We’ve got a bunch of new specialty Soul Orbs uploaded as well! You can check them out in the Encyclopedia page, under the World menu at the top navigation bar. :D 
• Speaking of specialty Soul Orbs. Some of them are added now as rewards for completed research in Drukworth’s Academy!
• On the note of Drukworth’s Academy, you can find that on the World Map page as well.

Legacy Enivi

We’ve begun the process of uploading and approving the Legacy Enivi that folks have been submitting to us. 

We’ve been trying to knock out the list each day, so our current ETA if you’ve sent one in and are still waiting is about a day or so!

If you're a returning player from World of Eniv and have an Enivi that you'd like to have registered, you can find the form under My Activity within the game's navigation bar. Feel free to register any existing Enivi here, but please be patient with us as we get them approved and uploaded.

Fishing! Oh, dear fishing. 

We’ve noticed that the Fishing game hasn’t been behaving quite as we anticipated. 

Not to worry, our dev team is working hard to get this fixed up, and we’ve got our coder already on it. :D

Closing statements.

I can't express how thrilled I am for Early Access to have finally arrived and for all of the help from our wonderful Backers so far finding errors and squashing little bugs as we go. Y'all have been integral to this process and I am very thankful! 

I'm also feeling very excited for many more days getting to hang out with folks as the game comes together. I also love all of the feedback we've been getting about the traits, markings, accessories, and features so far. 

That feedback is definitely a huge priority for Tony and I as we get things ready for full launch, and we intend to keep it high priority for the duration of each major game update after that. You folks expressing the things you like and things you want to see will help us focus our efforts where people want them most. 

At the end of the day, it's thanks to you that Keepers of Eniv can be a fun game with awesome people in it's community.

We're excited to announce that we have two new features added to the game!

The Beauty Contest

The Beauty Contest is a weekly event that restarts every Friday at 12 PM EST.

Players can enter their Enivi into the contest by clicking "Enter the Beauty Contest" and selecting the Enivi they'd like to enter.
The contest shows off your Enivi's profile image, which is automatically pulled into the contest when you enter.
At the end of each week, the top 3 Enivi with the highest votes will be given a special prize. The player whose Enivi had the highest votes will also get a special award for their profile.
Be sure to vote each week so we can keep the contest running (it only takes a few moments to vote)!

Forums

We've also now added Forums!

You can interact with the community, plan out designs, trade items and Enivi, and much more.
Feel free to host your own forum games, giveaways, or just start a conversation.

The Beach Party Update includes a few accessories to make your beach day perfect. From a Classic Beach Ball and Blue Striped Towel to the lovely Summer's End Bouquet, you're bound to find something to enhance your Enivi!

You'll be able to find these new items (and the pre-existing beach-themed items) in Sophie's Shoppe!

Other Site Updates:

• We've updated the navigation bar to be more user-friendly.
• We've fixed the bug in the Beauty Contest that kept some players from being able to enter or vote.
• We've fixed the bug that kept the Fishing game from refreshing.
• Lures are now free to purchase at Sophie's Shoppe.
• For the part of the community that's been asking, we've been having meetings about opening up different funding avenues for the site going forward. You'll likely see some of those appear soon, but we're dedicated to ensuring the game doesn't end up pay-to-play or pay-to-win.

Player Invites and OPen weekends

September is the first month we'll be opening to the general public. We're starting things off slowly and opening in waves to make sure we're prepared for the new players. 

Starting September 1st we're giving all our existing players the option to invite two friends each. 
Want to invite a friend? Just message a moderator or admin and we'll generate an invite code, which you can then share with the person you want to invite. 

Here's a quick FAQ, but do let us know if you have any other questions;

Q. Who can get an invite code?
A. Any player who is a Backer, or who has joined as of August 31st, 2021.

It's September and you know what that means, Autumn Events!

Autumn is a season filled with color and mystery. From harvest festivals and pumpkin crafts to spooky stories and dark arts, we've got quite a season ahead of us.

To get things started this September, we've made a few updates. Here are our current events and seasonal items;

From hairstyles to falling leaves, we've added a lot of new accessories, hairstyles, and backgrounds.
Some of these are purchasable in Sophie's Shoppe while others can be earned through prompts and activities.

What's Coming Up?

We're always working on updating the site. This month we're focusing on a few things;

• We're redoing our front page to make it more informative for new members.
• We're updating our community page. This will be the page you first visit when you log in. It'll show recent events and suggested prompts and activities.
• We're still working hard on our Breeding and Customization system, and on uploading .png versions of all our Art Pack Assets.
• We'll have our very first Enivi Sale this month. Be sure to keep an eye out for them in the next few days!
• We'll be updating our lore and NPC character information. 

It's Open Weekend!

This Friday (today) through Sunday we'll be open for new players. The site is temporarily open to anyone, even without a registration code. 

We're very excited to be able to finally open to the public, even if just for a few days. 

To our newest members, be sure to join our Discord Server where you can get quick help if you need to, or post on our Forums if you have any questions. We're all here for you!

The Adoption Center will be restocking shortly, and while we're not in the habit of prohibiting players from getting Enivi from that area, please do be respectful of the new players and give them a chance to get them as well.  We'll be adding Enivi there in waves to try to keep them available. If you have an Enivi you'd like to add to the Adoption Center, please do!

To make things even more special, keep an eye out for the new Out of the Box Prompt headed your way later today. This special Out of the Box will last all month.

Welcome to the Guiding Light Celebration!

A Vespiri event held every October to help wandering souls find their way, and to pay respect to those who have passed.

Due to their connection to the dead, Vespiri are often considered an omnious and creepy clan. Seeing a Vespiri in town could mean the death of a loved one, as they are the clan that ushers the souls of the dead back to that Enivi's chosen deity. For this month, they open their temple doors to all Enivi in the hopes that they'll come together for this spectacular event.

Seems like the spooky vibes are all over right now! Bats are swooping here and there, but they don't mean you any harm - they're here to help.
Along with eating pesky insects, these beauties are here to help you in crafting. If you can get enough of them together, you'll be able to earn some wings of your own.

We've added a few new spooky items to our shop and advent calendar for this month!

We've got some nice site updates for you this week!

First off, we've added a few collectible items to the game. Meet, My Sweet Enivi, the nostalgic collectable dolls from your Enivi's childhood.
Every My Sweet Enivi doll has a rarity (common, rare, and legendary). This will effect the way you can find the doll as well as the resell value.
We'll be adding more of these as time goes on, but for now we'll start you all off with six;

Gachapon Capsules

Our new Gachapon Capsule Shop is open!

For those unfamiliar, Gachapon are those toy machines you see where you get a capsule that contains a collectible toy or item (or rubber balls, haha). 
Our Gachapon capsules contain tons of items, accessories, and traits - even some legendary, Gem-only traits and an Ancient Sprout. What you get is randomized, so the Gachapon can be a bit of a gamble, but you'll always receive a prize.

Be sure to click on the capsule you're planning to buy to see the available prizes and odds before you purchase one.

Craft your collected bats into a large mix of nighttime friends, some of which are more put together than others.

Mysterious Slime?

Gross and goopy, mysterious slime has started showing up around Eniv.
It smells bad. It looks bad. It tastes bad... wait, why would you taste it!?

Seems some Enivi are more curious than others. While we do not condone putting mystery substances in your mouth, it might be worth trying?
Or it could be an absolute disaster. 
The risk is all on you if you manage to find the stuff.

Cozy holiday update

As we wrap up the final week of our October event and gather the bats back into their caves, we've begun noticing a chill in the air.
The time has come for cozy and comforting things! So grab your hot drinks and warm clothes, because we're prepping for winter soon.

This has been an exciting journey so far, but we still have so far we'd love to go and to bring you all with us. 

To this end Tony and I are working hard on a year out roadmap, so we can give everyone a heads up about what we're doing and comitting to for the year 2022.

The community asked for it, and we're here to deliver. 

Short hairstyles are coming soon. Our new Short Mohawk is already available in Sophie's Shoppe and in our OneDrive, and more will be coming soon.

Our Community Commitment

There's been a lot of upheaval in quite a few similar games recently, and we thought it would be wise to make a public commitment to our community.

We're promising to put our community first, even as we grow. To hold true to promises we make to the best of our ability. To only affiliate with other games and services we know hold our own values. 

Transparency and honesty are very important to our community, and we plan to continue to be as open with you all as we can.

What's Up With November?

November is a lighter month as far as events. We'll be releasing some general items, accessories, and traits while we make updates to the site.
Our plans for this month are;

• To update the site code so it runs more smoothly (this is in progress).
• To add a captcha to registration to help prevent bots (this is also in progress).
• Release a few odds-and-ends items, accessories, and traits that don't fit a specific theme, but have been asked for or are needed.
• To have the Enivi Creation and Customization tool ready for launch in December. This includes;
  • This includes making sure all our markings and traits come in every color.
  • Making sure all our accessories have their needed recolors and are set in place.
  • Double-checking the positioning of all traits, accessories, and markings to make sure they align properly.
  • Transferring all the traits to all bases.
  • Finishing up the coding the program itself.

We've got a handful of small updates and reminders for you all!

First, don't forget to enter for our first Create to Adopt Enivi!

General (But Important!) Updates;

• The Code Cleanup has been completed!
  Our Code Cleanup has finally come to an end (until next time ;) ). The site should be maintained more smoothly now and in preparation of us adding the Character Creator (which is obviously very image intensive). This isn't something you'll likely notice as a user, but it's set us up for a solid future going forward, and we're happy to have the solid foundation to build on.
• Captcha has been added to registration.
  We've added Captcha to registration to help us let in users and keep out bots. Don't worry, you and your friends won't have to jump through hoops like trying to identify a "bus" that is actually a boat, bike, or who knows what else. The code is in our back-end system, so you'll hardly notice it's there.
  Unless you're a bot.
• We're still in Open Registration (invite your friends!)
  Captcha being added has made all our lives easier. We'll be keeping Open Registration open for the time being, and your friends will no longer need an invite code to join. Our plan is to keep the site open until we hit a limit where adding more players could complicate things as far as needing more staff, finding unexpected bugs, or needing to re-evaluate server space.
• The Timezone and roll-overs are being updated.
  Our timezone has been updated from UTC to PST, and our roll-overs will begin to reset at 12am PST rather than UTC.
• PSD Requests and Masterlist Error Reports have been moved from our Discord Server to our Forums.
  If you're looking for a PSD or have an error to report for your Enivi's masterlist entry, you can now do that on the forums instead of on our Discord server.
  You'll find both these sections pinned under "Help".
  If you already have a request in either of these on the Discord server, you don't need to put in a new one. We'll be finishing those up before retiring the channels.
• Fishing has been lowered from 5 tries per day to 3, and the lures are now usable!
  This is in preparation of some new features we'll be adding soon, and also an attempt to balance out our economy.
• Fishing Prices have been lowered.
  Like above, this is an attempt to balance out the economy. There's just too many fish!
• Some New Items Not Sellable
  One final heads up, we're taking some time this weekend to double-check our economy. We've hit a threshold for some users having an abnormal amount of SS, and we want to make sure we're keeping tabs on that.
  The new seasonal items are currently not sellable (to the site, you can still sell to other users! ) because we're working on maintaining balance ( as all things should be). 

Our Current Work List

We're still ironing out a few things, but these are our goals for the rest of the month that you can keep an eye out for;

• Adding new items, accessories, and traits.
• Working on the Character Creator.
  Note: This likely will not be finished this month, but we're working hard on it.
• Creating new tutorials.
• Working on new, optional site-themes.

• Give more purpose to the fish you catch.

We were talking about having a monthly Community Discussion, where the staff would be in VC and you could ask us questions in text. 
They could be questions about the game, the lore, you could voice concerns, or suggest features you'd like to see in the future. You know we love to hear your thoughts.

This shop doesn't accept Star Shards, however. It only accepts Candy Canes, so you'll need to be on the hunt for them. 
You can find Candy Canes in Seasonal Prompts, while fishing, and randomly around the site.

Site Themes!

It's the winter season, so our site has been updated to a more festive look!
The Winter Festival Theme will be available to use through January, and will then be retired for the season. 
Don't worry, it'll be back in December 2022, and will be available to Premium Members all year long (more info on Premium coming soon as well! )

Our normal theme (called Keepers of Eniv) and dark mode (Night in Eniv) will be available to all our members all year. 

To change your theme, just go to your settings and scroll down to Themes.

We're aware of some formatting issues with some of the themes. These should be resolved shortly.

We'll also be adding more themes as time goes on, so keep an eye out for them in future updates.

Earning Adoption Tokens

The Adoption Center has been updated with information on how to earn Adoption Tokens!

You can now earn tokens by creating artwork of Enivi in the Adoption Center and submitting it to the Adoption Center Enivi Gallery folder. 
Each piece of work earns you one token, so they should be easy enough to collect without anyone clearing out the Adoption Center.

The rules, as well as some additional info, are located in the Gallery folder here.

Lure Reset

After alot of discussion, we've decided to reset the lures on the site. 

Lures have been free in Sophie's Shoppe while the fishing game was fixed. Now that the game has been up and running properly for about a month, we're ready to finally have it running as expected in all ways. 

We'll be removing Cheese and Fancy Lures from players' inventories. You'll be able to purchase more at Sophie's Shoppe.

UPDATE: We realized the way to submit the prompt for The Clock Strikes 9 Part 2 was unclear, and have updated it on the top of the prompt.
To submit this prompt, submit the image to the Prompt Gallery.  The image won't be accepted until after the event, but the rewards will be given if the puzzle was completed correctly.

January isn't just the start of a new year, it's also the Lunaesi Festival of Eyes.

Every year Lunaesi throw a grand festival to pay homage to Lunae, and to thank her for her ever-watchful eyes.

Site Updates

• The Design Guide has been updated to better explain how to create your first MYO. We'll be updating and adding more guides soon.

• We're expanding our social media presence and will be linking all of them in the next update.

Hey everyone!

This update is going to be a little different from our usual news posts. We'd like to take a few minutes to talk about the future!

At Keepers of Eniv, we try very hard to keep our community involved and to be transparent with our goals, so each quarter (January, April, July, and October) we'll give an update about what our goals are for the next three months, and how we feel we handled the goals in the previous quarter. It's a little "businessy", but we like to keep our community in the loop.

Our Q1 2022 Goals

Quarter 1 (Q1) consists of January, February, and March. 
During that time we've got a lot of big goals;

• Lore Updates
  We'd like to take time to flesh out the world of Eniv a bit more. We're going to give more backstory to the current world state, traditions, NPCs, and give more story to the game. Players from World of Eniv will recognize a few of those places and characters, as well as some new additions to our canon. This is currently in development.
• Trait Recolors
  As many of our players know, we've been working to provide more and more pre-created assets for use in profile images of Enivi. We'll be taking some time to make sure all our traits are recolored and usable for all our players. This is also in preparation for the upcoming Character Creator (more on this later).
• Tutorial Updates
  We're working on tutorial updates for both players and staff. You may have already noticed that we've updated the Design Guide and What is an Enivi? (Currently under World Activities, but things like this will be moved to the Encyclopedia in the future). We don't expect all our guides to be completed in Q1, but we are making a large attempt at what we felt are the most important guides. Some of these include the Design Guide, Account Creation and Activation, How to use Art Packs, How to Submit to the Gallery, and How to Submit a Prompt. 
  Currently the Design Guide update is completed and the Account Creation and Activation guide is in progress.
• Custom Content Gateways Opening
  We'd like to finally open for the long-awaited Custom Content! 
  Custom content has been something we've had players ask about quite a bit, but we didn't just want to open at the start of the game. We took some time to really listen to our community and try to find out what you all wanted, needed, and how you felt about the idea. We're starting out smaller with custom content with semi-custom content available through Wishing Stars (keep an eye out for those through the January event). Afterward, we'll re-evaluate our processes and rules to make sure things are running as cleanly as they can before we open for custom content commissions. 
  Thank you to everyone who has waited for this, and for your interest!
• Temple Questlines
  Temple Quests are a series of prompts and activities for players to complete that can earn their Enivi a place among the temple keepers of Eniv. This will grant a series of special rewards and benefits for the Enivi involved. This will also serve as another reason for your Enivi to want to be "Double-Blessed", as only Enivi under the guidance of a specific Deity will be allowed to complete the quests for that temple.
  These are currently in development.
• Shop Revisions
  We recognize that Sophie's Shoppe may have been enough in days passed, but with the amount of items, traits, and accessories currently in game (we have over 2,000 variations! ) it's not viable to keep them all in rotation in one place. In an attempt to make items intended to be common available more, we'll be opening up additional shops and moving what's available to their designated shop. 
  This should make it easier to find the traits you need, while also giving poor Sophie some much-needed rest.
  This is currently in development, and you should keep an eye out for an upcoming contest regarding the shop keepers.
• The Character Creator
  Long awaited, our character creator is something we've talked about a few times. 
  While we were working on a simple script at the beginning, we've reworked it to include more detail and to be much more user-friendly in functionality. While we can't share all the details just yet, we're very sure the outcome will be worth the longer wait, and that you'll all enjoy the upcoming changes.
  To reiterate, no one will be forced to use the character creator when it's finished. It's just another option for our writers, musicians, and honestly anyone who enjoys using their Enivi more than designing and creating them by hand or with the art packs. 
  The planning for this is entirely finished, along with the planning for the accompanying systems. Coding will begin again later this month.

We'll also be making some smaller updates along the way and, of course, hosting events and adding new accessories, traits, and markings. These are just the bigger focus points we feel will take the most time.

We Want Your Feedback!

To keep the game growing and moving in the right direction, we always want the feedback of our community. 

Of course, some people have trouble speaking in public - even online. We wanted to make sure everyone has the opportunity for their thoughts to be heard, so we created a short survey we're asking our community to fill out. 

All answers are anonymous by default, but there's a spot for you to leave contact information if you'd like us to reach out to you. That spot is entirely optional.

Game Updates

• We have a 2022 Survey (just above!) that we're asking our community to participate in. We'd really appreciate your input on the direction of the game.
• The Design Guide was recently updated. Make sure to check it out! (We'll be making another for Druaesi soon)
• What Are Enivi? has been updated as well. We're still working on adding additional information, but so far we've clarified some points about Kids and updated our height chart for a more appealing look.
• The Wisp-Like Soul has been added to Sophie's Shoppe! You can get one for free for a limited time. Going forward, these will be common souls that can be used during MYO creation.
  
  
• Badger Mask, Old Farmer's Mane, Shoulder Fringe, and many other items have been officially added to the game.
• Two new items have been added for marking removal in the game. The Mud Mask and Deep Cleansing Mud Bath. You'll be able to find these in Sophie's Shoppe soon.
• Semi-Custom Content is now available on The Forums. You'll need to find a Wishing Star (which are very, very rare) to place a request for a semi-custom accessory, marking, trait, or companion. We'd suggest doing some star gazing.
• Speaking of star gazing ,the Wishing Fields are still open! Be sure to check them out and have your Enivi make a wish!

New Prompts!

As the celebrations continue, we've added a bunch of new prompts to complete. 
The celebration of Lunae is a tradition dating back to the beginning of the Lunaesi herd's historical records.

You can find all of the prompts listed under the Lunae's Festival category.

The festivities may only last a few spectacular nights in the lore, but the prompts are available to complete until February 13th! The rewards vary, some giving out items and some giving out tickets, but stay tuned to the next header to find out what the tickets are for.

Raffle tickets!

One of the big rewards for the completion of prompts during Lunae's Festival is raffle tickets! At the end of the festival, these will all be compiled and 1 grand winner will get their very own Wishing Star!

3 participants will be given Enchanted Golden Fringe's, and all remaining participants will be given a set of Shadow's Fall Fringes!

It's anonymous, discreet, and short. We made sure to give opportunity for open-ended answers if you have more feedback, but knowing some of our members expressed that they greatly prefer multiple choice, we focused on that for this survey.

We're always looking for new ways to make things easier or more concise for our players. With this comes some ideas of how to make prompts easier to navigate. 
Coming soon we're looking at updating the prompt search feature, so that each dropdown category is a collection of prompts, to make them easier to search and easier to find.

Item and trait previews!

Wrapping this up with some additional previews!

Wisp-like Souls are now added! They're a facelifted take on the Classic Souls that we give to everyone for free by default. They can be purchased from Sophie's Shoppe for free, 2-each, for every member. This will allow you to grab a few of the Wisp-like Souls and then add it to an update for your Enivi designs.

We've also added a handful of new traits and backgrounds to the game! Some of these will be gained by completing prompts from Lunae's Festival, and others will be gained by checking for your daily gift or can be bought in the shops.

Players have been asking us how they can support the site in ways other than purchasing Gems, and now we have another answer!

Premium Accounts are now available to anyone who would like to support us, and get a few extra perks.

We know our community has wanted them, so as we get our site smoothed out we'll also be making tutorials.
These are a mix of written and video tutorials to help our players who learn better either way.
But wait, this isn't just another promise to make them, they're here!

Along with regular tutorial updates, we're also planning lore-based video updates on our YouTube channel as well, so be sure to subscribe!

We'll be sure to keep things organized into proper playlists so the information is easy to find.

Prompts Page Redone

The Prompts page has been completely redone!

We understand that the old layout for our prompts was confusing and made things difficult to find. Going forward, the new layout should help you easily understand which prompts are available.
We've also added a feature to make story-lines of prompts easier to understand. Now, if you need to complete one prompt before another, they'll be listed. You also won't be able to submit for the second prompt before completing the first.
Out of the Box is currently being slightly reworked, but will return shortly!

We've debated moving the Drukworth academy away from it's current format and into something  more like this. Let us know what your thoughts are in the comments!

Racing Items, Prompts, and Challengers

Racing has no become available in Eniv!

Well, casual racing between friends.

Enivi can now race one another or NPCs (Sam for now, with more to come). 
Race results are rolled by staff. They're based off your Enivi's speed and agility stats, a sort of 1d20 roll, and any items you'd like to add in to help you.
Random events can also occur while racing. Anything from spraining an ankle to tripping into a puddle of Mysterious Slime (don't worry, it won't effect your Enivi unless they choose to eat it out of their fur - blech). Ankle sprains will keep your Enivi from being able to race for up to a week, or can be cured with a Waterskin of Mineral Water.

Speaking of mineral water, three new items have been added to the site to help your Enivi train and win their races.
A Waterskin of Mineral Water will add a temporary, one-time temporary boost of 3 stat points for your race. This can be found through fishing and adventuring prompts.
Rainbow Juice is crafted from Rainbow Berries and can give a one-time temporary boost of 5 stat points for your race. 
Fish Oil gives a one-time temporary stat boost of a whopping ten stat points! It can be crafted from fish (the number of fish depends on the rarity of the fish). It's best not to ask for more information than that about how it's made.

You can view the new racing prompts in a mix of Story Mode and Explore Eniv.

Hey Keepers of Eniv family!

As the game grows, we feel it's more and more important to involve our community and to keep you all in the loop with what's to come.

Each quarter we'll be doing a Community Town Hall meeting in our Discord server.
These meetings will go over what we're working on, what's in the plans for the near future (spoiler free), and will have a question and answer segment as well.

Our first Community Town Hall will be on Friday, February 11th at 6PM EST (3PM PST/Site time).

The meeting will take place in our Discord Server.

We're happy to finally announce some big changes with our shops.

Sophie's Shoppe Changes

Sophie has been overworked these past few months and is feeling a little run down. 
Being the sole shop owner in Eniv is exhausting, so we've brought in a familiar face to help out!

Sophie's Shoppe will now stock general items and traits. 
Common items and traits are restocked once a week to make sure they're readily available, though she does stock up to rare and some seasonal items.

Unique Boutique

The Unique Boutique is our new shop, and can be found just under Sophie's Shoppe in the navigation menu.
This new shop is hosted by a familiar (yet nameless) face who we'll talk about more later. The shop stocks accessories and background regularly. 
As a reminder, accessories and backgrounds are one-time-use items like trait applicators. 

Shops In General

Our coding for shops got a great overhaul as well!

Shops how automatically restock based on the rarity and season for the items.
Common and Uncommon items restock once a week, and will stock between 1 and 10 of each item.
Rare items restock once a month and stock between 1 and 5 of each item.
Seasonal items restock based on their rarity, but only for the months they're meant to be available.

This should make finding the items you're looking for much easier.

Remove your Enivi's mane, hair, and feathering with a razor! Just be careful while using it!

This item will be stocking in Sophie's Shoppe.

At least, we have a very large companion to start the update off with.

Do you find yourself attracting a vast amount of Kite Goldies when fishing? Well, it could be a sign from a higher being.
The Grand Royal Kitefish and Grand Dream Kitefish will join your Enivi if you can collect 100 Kite Goldies (each). 
These giant companions can be obtained via crafting. To give some perspective;

Lovely Base and markings Color

The Lovely base color has been added to our Art Packs for easy use.
Your Enivi can now be a wonderful shade of pink. You'll just need to use a color-change potion to make it happen.

Swan Wings have been added to the game and art packs. 
You'll be able to get Swan Wings through a variety of Prompts and through Mysterious Slime (which you can earn randomly through racing and exploring).

They're a very romantic touch for your Enivi.

Site Updates

Finally, a few smaller site updates we've made this week;

• All items that need to be opened for use now have a small open chest in their icon. The exception is the Gachapon capsules. 
• We've removed common base applicators as they served little purpose. If you had one in your inventory, we've replaced it with a Color Change Potion.
• We've added a variety of emojis to the Discord server.

General Site Updates

• The Blood Bay Base Applicator, Blue Silver Base Applicator, and Maple Base Applicator have been removed from our databases. If you had one (or more) of these in your inventory, they've been replaced with a Color-Changing Potion.
• Items have been scaled down from 200x200px to 100x100px. This is to help load times and the overall look of the site (as well as crowding on mobile). The exception to this are the My Sweet Enivi as they're a collectors item and having them sized down by half removed the ability to see some of them clearly.
• We've replaced Enivi "clans" with Enivi "Herds".

Welcome to the Sylvan Hunt!

Each year, the Druaesi host a special, sacred event to honor the forest spirits and the coming of spring.
Trees come into flowering bloom, food becomes plentiful, and the forest itself wakes from it's wintery slumber.
The Druaesi honor this event with a celebration including games, offering, and the event's title, the Sylvan Hunt.

A race through the trees to catch the elusive and clever Moinir, a glowing, mystical rabbit-like being that enhances the forest's growth wherever it hops. 
Enivi are urged to chase this spirit (it's all in good fun!), and if they can catch it, Moinir is said to bestow great blessings and rewards. 
Let's take a closer look at the event!

Gardening

As any Ortusi will tell you, the first stage in spring is to start your first plot!
What's that? You've never farmed or gardened before? Well, lucky for you the Druaesi are avid collectors of seeds. 
Claim your first plot for free here and get started today.
Additional plots cost 10 Star Shards, and each can be tended to every 24 hours.

As you care for your plants they'll grow! Different plants grow at different speeds, and some drop more than others. 
Using fertilizer or watering your plants can help them grow faster.
Once they're grown, you'll be able to harvest your crops and use them in crafting.

You can buy everything you'll need to get started from Sophie's Shoppe!

Crafting

With the new gardening feature we've also introduced some new crafting recipes.

You can now craft Accessory Dye to change the color of your accessories.
Some dyes can be created strictly from plants you've grown or found, while others need a combination of two dyes. 
All these recipes are currently unlocked for all players, but more secret colors will be available in the future.

The Sylvan Hunt

The Sylvan Hunt itself is a large event that will be portioned out through the month.
First, be sure to be on the lookout for Moinir, a glowing rabbit-like spirit that travels through the wood. Follow the tracks and collect evidence of this spirit to finally try to catch them.
Moinir can grant many blessings and rewards, from seeds for your garden to one of their own kin, the Moini. 

Good luck and happy "hunting"!

Other prompts will start to roll out through the month (beginning today), including games and prompt lines that can reward you with your own Druaesi MYO.

We've also heard that if we collect enough Acorns we may be able to lure Moinir out of hiding!

Skip a Prompt

You can now find Prompt Skip tokens in The Hidden Cove!
These items allow you to skip a single prompt in a prompt or story line to move on to the next.
The rewards and effects are different depending on the type of Prompt Skip you use, so be sure to read them over before you buy one!

New Accessories

We're introducing some new accessories that may help you survive your time in the Dark Forest.

Long Swords, short swords, chest plates and more will be available in Sophie's Shoppe and the Seasonal Shop!

Special versions will be able to be bought with Acorns rather than Star Shards.

The Druaesi Rebasi!

It's been a lot of work, but we heard your cries for a more simple Druaesi base to help in the design process. 
We've put hours upon hours of work into the new base, and we're excited to finally be able to share it with you;

With this stunning rebase comes new assets like "Generic Leaf Ears", "Grass Tail", "Blue Grass Tail", "Dried Grass Tail", and a variety of hair like "Grass Hair", "Blue Grass Hair", and "Dried Grass Hair". 
Markings are welcome to be added to this new base! 
We do plan to stick with it for a while, so we hope you all enjoy it!

We're glad you all let us have a little fun yesterday, and we hope everyone who claimed their daily gift enjoys their limited edition April Fools Druaesi!

Today, we're excited to show the real rebase for the Druaesi;

Our new Druaesi base has three different patterns, Bark, Woodgrain, and Earthen.
All three have been pre-recolored into a variety of hues for your convenience! 
Along with the new bases, we've also transferred and recolored a handful of markings;

• Appaloosa
• Blanket
• Blaze
• Pangare
• Piebald
• Stardust
• Stockings
• Aurora 
• Moon Phases

Of course, these aren't the only markings available to your Druaesi. You can create your own version of any existing marking for your Druaesi, and we'll be transferring more premade assets soon.
We've also made scales and hooves to fit the new base, and the horns for the other herds may currently be used, though they're still being transferred (it's a lot of assets! )

The Druaesi also have a handful of new assets as well, like Body Hollows to store plants and souls, and their own Facial Markings (only available to Druaesi or Druae-blessed Enivi).

A Designing your Druaesi guide will be available shortly ;)

Anyone who currently owns a Druaesi is being given a chance this month to redesign them. Of course, you're welcome to use the previous assets as well, this is more of an expansion than a replacement.
You're also welcome to keep your current Druaesi as is.

How to get a Druaesi 

Druaesi are Legendary rarity Enivi. They're intentionally difficult to obtain.
That being said, we do have a few ways you can get your own Druaesi!

Participating in this Event

Participating in the Sylvan Hunt will give you a few chances to earn your own Druaesi. Once the Holiday Shop is stocked with Sylvan Hunt items, you'll be able to earn an Ancient Sprout (a Druaesi MYO) with acorns.
You can also find an Ancient Sprout through exploring the Dark Forest, though it is very rare.

Greetings all

Thanks for participating in the Sylvan Hunt for our new event's first week. Your folks' participation and acorn-hunting has definitely paid off. We now have the Seasonal Shop open with a few of the first items available for this event. 

But we're not done quite yet! Once we hit 300 acorns we'll be opening up another tier of purchasable items.

So keep your eyes open and follow those trails, because where Moinir treads, these acorns spread.

On April 8th the sale will end, and this specialty Druaesi will wander back off into the Dark Forest, bringing their Pearlescent Forest Fey foreground item with them.

Especially those with a flare for the dramatic, and an eye for the dangerous.

The Sylvan Hunt continues as we search for Moinir!

Trails of acorns have been popping up all over the forest (and in some strange places outside as well). 
Rowan seems to believe these acorns will show up faster through the weekend, which means we'll have to hunt for them quicker as well.

As the hunt becomes more challenging, you may need to work with others to find them all.

As the Sylvan Hunt comes to a close Enivi begin to make their way back home.

The Holiday Shop will continue to stock items from the Event for another week.
We may not have caught Moinir this year, but that just means we can try even harder next time!

May will be a lighter month as we finish prepping for June's events. 
June is a sort of double-event month, being both the Ortusi Festival of the Sun and PRIDE Month. We have some big plans and we hope you'll enjoy them.

We'd also like to know what we can do to make the events more enjoyable for you. Please feel free to give us some feedback on what you'd like to see more or less of.

Advent Calendar Update

We're trying something a little new with the advent calendar this month. 

Rather than have the calendar give away a large prize at the end of the month, we'll be giving them away at the end of each week (Sundays).
This is meant to server two purposes;
1) To give you all more gifts through our less active month.
2) To troubleshoot the issue with the advent calendar not always giving out the proper prizes at the end of the month.
If you believe you collected your daily gift every day in April, but didn't receive your larger gift on the last day, please let us know. We're looking into it.

In the meantime, enjoy the extra gifts over the next 4 weeks while we take a peek into what's going on with the calendar!

Gardening Update

There was an issue previously where the fertilizers weren't being removed from players' inventories directly after use, which caused some confusion. 
We believe this has been resolved. If you're still getting this error, please let us know through a bug report.

We'll still have a few updates this month with some new features and items, so keep an eye out!

The Four Leaf Clover is a lucky item that allows you to either instantly have success with any PvE event or prompt, or you can reroll a roll and choose which outcome you'd like to keep (for example, if you used Mysterious Slime and went bald, but would like to try for a different outcome).

How do you get a Four Leaf Clover? Easy (today at least)

Enter today's Flash Prompt and show your Enivi reacting to finding out it's Friday the 13th.
Flash Prompts have minimal requirements and are primarily done for fun.

First off, we've added 20 new prompts for you to enjoy!

Some of these prompts are very simple, like the Draw your Enivi prompt.
Others require a bit more time, like the Pasta-Tively Amazing Prompt.

For simple prompts, we wanted to add reoccuring, fun prompts that can be applied to a variety of situations, styles, and mediums. 
These include prompts like Draw an Ortusi, Favorite Memory, Write about your Enivi, and Family Portrait. These are meant to give you an opportunity to build your Enivi's character while earning some additional rewards and experience points.

We've also changed the way Out of the Box works.

Now that we've added Flash Prompts, Out of the Box (OotB) prompts have been revised.
Going forward, OotB has it's own category on the Prompts and Quests page. These prompts are meant to push players out of their comfort zones with challenging, silly, or unexpected ideas.
Creating a pasta portrait, cooking a meal, writing a haiku, and coloring a coloring page are just a few examples. 

Some prompts give away special, prompt-only prizes like the lightening Stormy Field of Flowers Background (can you find the prompt?)

Based on your feedback, we've gone through and updated the way we score your submissions for Star Shards!

Going forward, sketches are now eligable for bonuses.
We've also added additional scoring options like "Minis" and "3D Shading".
We've also added a handful of background options, and the ability to add scoring for more than one character in a single image (though you can still only have one focus character for rewards and XP). 

This is something we've put a lot of thought and work into, and we're happy to finally bring you this update.
Admittedly, it's been something that's needed to be done.

The Ortusi have invited all of Eniv to come celebrate with them. 

Learn more about the Ortusi while you collect Ancient Ortusi Shoes to unlock the battle features in the event and earn some amazing new traits and accessories like the Fiery Soul, Burning Phoenix Wings, and Ortusi Armor Set from the Seasonal Shop.

The Bug Hunt

The Summer Bug Hunt is underway as well (starting June 1st at 12:00AM PST)!

This is an event that will run from June through August. Collect bugs to earn special rewards and to use them in alchemy/crafting to get a variety of new wings.
You can catch bugs by visiting our Bug Hunt daily, by doing special bug hunt prompts, finding them hidden on pages, and by purchasing Bug Nets.

Don't worry, all our buggy friends are very friendly and docile, and are happy to lend their natural magic to helping your Enivi get their new wings

If you're lucky, you'll also find some Hawk Feathers to combine into Hunter's Wings while you're looking for insects or fishing.
You can find the Summer Bug Hunt listed under Games in the navigation menu.

Beauty Contest Update

We've updated our beauty contest to give away a new item!

"Okay. It kind of goes with my moss..."

Winners of the Beauty Contest will now get this lovely seasonal wreath! Be sure to enter, because the wreath is only available until fall, when it'll be switched out for a more autumny version.

New Traits

Finally, we have some new traits for you all!
First off, we've got our Pride Month Rainbow Base available. This will restock randomly in Sophie's Shoppe and is also available through our Charity Raffle.
With the Summer Bug Hunt under way we've got some nice Dragonfly and Monarch Wings.
Sun Raiser Horns are a new, curved horn set available now.
We've also added Short Hair as an option for your Enivi's hairstyles, and two new markings. The first is "Socks", which is a shorter version of Stockings to give you a little more customization.
Finally... after a long wait...

Peacock Appaloosa!

Peacock Appaloosa is a Legendary tier marking that will be available through events and purchases. 
We have had a few concerns while creating it because the spots combined with high contrasting colors can trigger some phobias and medical issues, so we were very careful with this design.
Peacock Appaloosa is one of the few markings we have that staff will be very wary with, but don't worry, we're more than happy to work with our players to make sure you can have your beautiful Enivi while still ensuring it won't cause a real-life issue for anyone else.

Our Battle Prompts have finally arrived! Fight against NPCs or other Enivi for treasure and glory!

How Battling Works

Battling is fairly easy. Select your opponent and create your prompt. It can be an image, writing, song - anything you'd like that fits the theme.
From here, submit the prompt as you normally would. The prompt is then reviewed by staff and a roller that uses your character's stats, any attached items and gear, and a small random chance much like racing, is rolled to see who won.

Participants will always receive the listed rewards, but the winners could stand to gain up to double the prizes. 
The rewards can range from small weaponry to some Legendary traits and 100 additional Star Shards!

Your Enivi can also become visibly injured or get scars during battle. There's more on that below.

Scars

At last, the long awaited Scars update.
There are now 24 different kinds of scars and visible injuries your Enivi can walk away from a battle with. These range from bloody nose scratches to light, healing scars along the side.
We do need to note a few things regarding these injuries and scars;

1. Kids cannot have injuries or scars. They also cannot battle. This includes "Forever Kids" created with Babies' Breath.
2. We understand that not everyone likes the idea of scars or injuries on their Enivi. These are optional. You are not in any way required to use them if your Enivi gets "injured" in battle.
3. Injuries are purely cosmetic at this time.
4. We give our players a lot of artistic freedom with their item uses and you may recolor these items and change the  positioning of them (in other words, your Druaesi may have green blood if you'd like!). You may not, however, use these assets to mimic self-harm situations. 
   If you or someone you know is in need of help, please contact a help hotline or text 741741 in the United States to be connected to the Crisis Text Line. You are important. You matter.
5. There's only one item for each of the types of scars/injuries, but there are 3 versions of each; Fresh Wounds, Fresh Scars, and Healing Scars. You can use whichever version you'd like, and may change them out once applied. So, if you wanted to start with a fresh injury and keep that for a while before have the scar heal and fade, that's 100% fine and you won't need another applicator unless you're changing the color (changing blood from red to green) or the positioning in a noticeable way.
6. These assets can be found under Accessories in the Art Packs.

New Flora and Fauna

To go with the battle system with have some battle NPCs.
You can find more information about them in the World Lore under Flora and Fauna.

Exploring the Dark Forest

While you're exploring Eniv you may have noticed a new game has been added.
Exploring is a new daily that can be completed up to 5 times a day (for all accounts, not just Premium). Your Enivi is sent into an area where they explore and forage for an hour. When they return, they'll bring back what they've found.

Right now, the Dark Forest is the only location we have available, but more will be coming very soon and the page for the game will be updated to look nicer as well.

Festival of the Sun

The Festival of The Sun is still in full swing! 
Don't forget to participate in the event prompts to earn Ancient Ortusi Shoes for the Holiday shop.
Keep an eye out for them to appear on random pages of the site over the weekend as well!

Site Holiday Vacations

We love our community and we love our staff members!
To ensure the mental health of our staff we're going to be officially "closing" on some holidays.
Don't worry, the site will still be playable, but what this means is that we won't be processing anything until the following day. In other words, character updates, prompt submissions, gallery submissions and non-emergency reports will all be put on hold while the site is on "vacation".

Here's a list of days we'll be taking off;

• Thanksgiving Eve (1/2 Day - we stop all processing at 12PM EST)

Bugs Update

• The issue with Enivi not leveling up correctly was resolved (yay!)
• The issue with staff being unable to correctly approve prompts has been resolved.
• With the new iPhone update there has been an issue with uploading via mobile for iPhone users. We've consulted 3 coders and, unfortunately, it sounds like this is out of our hands for now. We'd recommend using a different device to upload images to the Gallery if you encounter any issues.

Site Staff Weekend Break

Our site staff works incredibly hard and we appreciate them very much!
We all need a break from time to time, so we'll be taking an extended weekend on July 2nd and 3rd (we'll be processing until 12pm PST), and will be holding all processing on July 4th for the holiday in America so people can spend time with their families as needed.
If you have an emergency, feel free to tag admin in the Discord server, but all non-emergency matters will be put on hold until after our break.

New Sales Enivi and Sales Enivi Changes

Four new Enivi have been added to the market!

As like before, these Enivi have custom, hand-painted markings and some of the summer Event markings as well.
So, what's changed?
The Enivi now come with small snips of backstory for you to build on if you'd like. 
Using these backstories is entirely optional, just like their names and pronouns, you can change these however you'd like.

The prices start at a small $25 and raise from there depending on markings and Enivi rarity (there's even a Druaesi this month! ). Be sure to check them out here:

Summer Accessories

We've got an array of new summer accessories for you to make your beach day special!
While you're putting on your Sunscreen, don't forget your new Innertube and Fruity Drink while you build your Sand Castle under your Picnic Lights.

Your Enivi can also go swimming with the In the Sea Background and High Tide Foreground set.

Summer Fishing Changes

Summer fish have started to appear in Still Mirror Lake, and they'll only be here until autumn, so be sure to catch them while you can.

Sightings of catfish, seahorses, and even great white sharks have been reported by Enivi, so grab your lures and head to the lake.

You'll be able to use these new fish in alchemy and crafting to create a few new traits and a companion variation;

Like the fish, these are only here for a limited time.

Finally, we have some new traits in Sophie's Shoppe, Short Feathering and Fleabitten.

These are smaller traits, but ones we felt you would all enjoy.

A few Site Updates

• We're still working on the leveling bug, but don't worry, we're hoping to have it sorted out soon and will have a mini-event to celebrate when we do!
• We've been getting a lot of questions about bug uses, don't worry, more things will spring up through the summer that are sure to get you buzzin' with excitement.
• We've clarified a few things in our Star Shard Guide, and changed the way characters are counted in literary and visual art to be more fair to (and increase the Star Shard output to) literary artists. (Don't worry, visual artists haven't lost anything, but we've increased what you get per character in literary art submissions)

Community Question

We're giving away one random item from this news post to everyone who answers;

Which herd is your favorite and why?

Are you a writer or roleplayer looking to earn some extra Star Shards?
Never roleplayed before but are interested in getting into it?
Well, this month is all about you!

Today through July 31st (ending August 1st at 12:00AM PST) we'll be giving double Star Shard base points for roleplaying done on the Discord server or Forums.

Here's how submitting roleplays for points works;

1. Have fun roleplaying with the community or a friend.
   These can take place on the forums, on our Discord server, or in private, but remember that all parties participating must be alright with you submitting their work to the gallery as well. 
2. Submit the roleplay to the gallery as a literary submission. 
   When doing this be sure to note which areas are your responses - you'll only be awarded for your own work.
   If the story is being submitted with the work of more than one person (which it likely will haha), mark the other participants as collab partners. Be sure to note whose responses are whose so we can make sure everyone gets the correct rewards.
   Only one person should be submitting the work, with credit given to the other people involved.
3. Continue to roleplay and submit the pieces to the gallery for more rewards!
   If you're going to be submitting more than one transcript for one roleplay, we suggest marking them as "Chapters" or "Episodes".

Rules

• All site rules apply.
• If the roleplay is private, all participants must be alright with the submission being included in the gallery.
• It's fine to add some filler NPCs (shop keepers, quest givers, etc), but the main characters must be official Enivi (ie: Enivi you own).
• Only the base amount of Star Shards are doubled (meaning the interaction bonus won't be doubled).
• The multiple character bonus can only be applied if you (an individual, not a group) are playing more than one character, and both characters are actively engaging in the roleplay.
  For example, if you're playing a Lunaesi and an Ortusi and the Lunaesi is doing all the talking, and the Ortusi says one line and is simply there, the Ortusi doesn't qualify for the bonus, just like our literary submissions.

All-in-all, these are scored as collaborative writing sessions!

Rare Color-Changing Potion

Finally, you can change your base or marking color to uncommon and rare colors with the Rare Color-Changing Potion!

Currently, you can find this restocking occasionally in Sophie's Shoppe, but as the name says it is a rare item.

So, which colors can it be used for?

Currently;

• Silver (metallic)
• Gold/Gilded (metallic)
• Puffin
• Marbled
• Glitter
• Pearlescent
• Iridescent

These can be applied to your full base, a specific trait, or a marking.
Note: if you apply it to your base, you can apply it to your tail, ears, etc. Markings would be seperate. 

Seasonal Fish Traits Update

After some discussion, we realized we made the seasonal fish traits a little too difficult to obtain. 
We wanted them to be challenging, but not impossible, so we've rolled them back a bit.

Shark Fins, Oceanic Back Scales, and Oceanic Tails have been lowered from 25 to 10 required elements.
Oceanic Face Scales and Oceanic Feathering have been lowered to 5 required elements.

We hope this helps you all earn these traits!

The Star Shard guide now has an updated set of infographics related to how we determine different types of shading!

Staff Features Gallery

To celebrate pieces of artwork submitted that are exceptional, we've made the Staff Features Gallery!

These are pieces we feel show the artist pushing their personal limits, trying new things outside their comfort zone, display exceptional storytelling, or are just so beautiful we felt they deserved some extra attention.

Once a piece is moved to our Staff Features gallery, it'll stay there for everyone to see.
The artist will also recieve the Staff Feature Award!

If you see a piece you believe should be featured, feel free to recommend it to a staff member in our Discord Server!

Community Spotlight

The Community Spotlight Award is another new achievement we're adding.

This award will be given out once a month to community members who have really shown their Keepers of Eniv spirit.

We'll be keeping an eye out for non-staff members who are generous, helpful, and caring both on-site and in our Discord Server.

Summer's End

Summer seems to be coming to an end so quickly this year!

We thought we'd remind everyone of the seasonal changes coming soon;

• The Beauty Contest Seasonal Wreath will be changing September 1st.
• The Summer Bug Hunt will come to a close on September 1st, and the Bug Catching Net will disappear until next year.
• Spring and summer fish will disappear on September 22nd. Autumn fish will begin appearing the same day.
• Spring and summer plants will no longer be able to grow in your Garden as of September 22nd, but new autumn plants will become available.
• Summer shop items will no longer stock as of September 1st, and will be replaced with our first round of autumn items.

Be sure to get anything you might miss before the season changes!

Final Summer Sales Enivi

Finally, Capricious, our last summer sales Enivi, will be retired if not sold by September 1st.
If you'd like to claim them, be sure to do it before then or they'll slip away back into the sea.

The Guiding Lights Festival has returned!

Each year, Enivi from all over are invited to the temples of Vesper. 
During the festival Vesper grants their magic to the souls, empowering them so they can communicate with loved ones.
Enivi from all over make the journey to the Vespiri Imperium to speak with loved ones departed, thank the Vespiri for caring for the souls, and to enjoy the festival.

The main temple and it's city are beautiful, decorated with lights and bright colors for the event. Music is played, crafts are created, and games are set up for the young and old alike.
For an event celebrating Enivi who have passed on it's quite a lively affair.

Wandering Souls

Sometimes souls will wander away from the temple during the festival. 
They could be searching for a loved one, a favorite activity, or even just enjoying the festival. The souls need attention and protection though, and are safest within the grounds of the temple. 

If you happen to see any floating about, please do gently guide them back. Both the soul and the Temple Tenders will be grateful and will grant you the ability to choose rewards from the Event Shop.

Treasure Scales

Treasure Scales are a rare new trait that can be found in Sophie's Shoppe! Keep an eye out for them to restock there. 

Character Creator Update

We have a huge update on the character creator!

The staff end of the code has been added to the site and we're starting to re-arrange traits and markings to fit the new system.
If you notice your Enivi suddenly missing a trait, don't panic. Let us know about it on the forums or Discord server and we'll get it fixed up right away.
We don't expect this to be a wide-spread issue, but it's something to keep an eye on as we rearrange the way our traits and markings are held in the system.

Premium members can expect an early-access screenshot of what the character creator will look like this coming week on Patreon!

While it will take time to get our literal hundreds of files migrated over into the new system, know we're working diligently to get this done, and our wonderful coder is hard at work squashing bugs and making updates.

For those who haven't heard about this before, the character creator will allow members to create new characters and update existing ones on-site instead of in an art program.
Don't worry, artists! You'll still be able to use our assets to create your own customized Enivi as usual.

This is intended to make the game more fun for those of you who are less familiar with art programs, or who are more interested in aspects of the game that aren't visual-arts related (role-playing, writing, music creation, or even just collecting). 

This will also allow you to update backgrounds and foregrounds with the click of a button, making customization much easier.

We're so excited for you to see the finished product, which we promise will be well worth the wait!

The Guiding Lights Festival continues this week!

It's the first day of autumn in the northern hemiphere, and for Keepers of Eniv!

You'll notice some changes around the site.

Fishing

Summer fish have seemingly disappeared from the lake, but adorable golden loaches (and some very unfortunate bones) have showed up for autumn!

The new fish can be crafted into new companions as well!

Gardening

With the changing of the seasons comes the changing of the harvest!

While strawberries, blueberries, and sunflowers are now out of season, you'll find you can grow two varities of corn and pumpkins in their place!

I wonder if there'll be other uses for pumpkins as the season goes on...

Prompts Update

We've updated the way prompts are catagorized!

You'll now be able to search for prompts by their type (Out of the Box, Story Mode, Explore, etc...) or event (The Guiding Light Festival).
Only prompts which are currently available will show in the search, which should cut back on the amount of clutter you'll see while searching.

Known Bugs

We've been making some updates on the site, and sometimes that brings bugs along with it (just in time for spooky season, haha). 
Rest assured, we're working on ironing out the bugs and wanted to give a huge thank you to our community both for your patience, and for reporting the bugs when you find them.

The Guiding Lights Festival

We wanted to make the announcement that The Guiding Lights Festival event is, as some of you guessed, an elongated event this year!

The event will run through October, so you still have a lot of time to get those event prompts done.

The next video will come out on October 4th, along with a handful of new rewards and prompts that are more Halloween-related. 
As with the last video, we'll have a warning for any potentially upsetting content (cartoon violence, mild cartoon gore due to zombies, and general spooky themes).

Keep an eye out for more souls drifting around through October as well.

Let's start the week off right with some site updates.

Firstly, we have two new rare bases for you to collect, Woodland and Still Mirror!

Woodland can be found through exploring the Dark Forest, while Still Mirror can be found (you guessed it) by fishing.
There's no crafting required for these bases, but they are rare, so we wish everyone luck in finding them.

Beauty Contest Updates

We've fixed the formatting for the Beauty Contest (which now will adjust properly to your screens instead of stretching them out - sorry about that).

First off, the most exciting news is that we're back with another autumn craft to earn yourself a Druaesi MYO!

Carve Your Own Way is a new (featured) prompt that lasts through October. 
Submit a photo of your carved pumpkin or apple to the gallery to get your very own Ancient Sprout.

You'll also receive Star Shard rewards for your gallery submission, so double-win!

We can't wait to see what Keepers of Eniv-themed creations you can make!

Halloween Party

On Friday, October 28th we'll be having a virtual Halloween Party in the Discord server!

Be sure to join the server ahead of time and have your account verified so you can claim your goodies through the night.

We'll be picking the best apple or pumpkin submission to get an extra prize, having trivia contests, Halloween Bingo, and much more.

We hope you'll join us starting at 8:00pm EST (5pm PST) on October 28th.

Rule Updates;

• We've updated our Discord rules to explain when it's appropriate to ping, at, or directly message a staff member on our Discord server. Please use ModMail when you can, we've seen an odd uptick in the amount of direct messages our staff members are getting since we added ModMail.
  Please remember that our moderators are volunteers who gift us the their time to help. They deserve personal time and space as much as anyone else.
• We've added a "Subject Change" sticker and emoji set to the Discord Server! 
  Community members are welcome to use the Subject Change sticker and emoji to indicate they're uncomfortable with a topic. If a community member posts one of the two, please be respectful.
  If a Moderator, Lead Moderator, Admin, or Founder posts the Subject Change sticker or Emoji, a change of subject is required.
  Use of this specific sticker and emoji set as a joke is not allowed, as it would take away it's original intent, which is to help people indicate when a situation is making them uncomfortable when they're unable to verbalize it.

Site Updates;

• We've adjusted the sell prices of a lot of our items to help balance our economy. 
• We've added a clarification to the Woodland and Still Mirror bases. These bases can only be obtained through Exploring the Dark Forest and Fishing, no through MYOs or potions.
• We're continuing to make changes regarding Traits and how they're listed in preparation for the Character Creator.
• We've updated how our prompts are listed to make them easier to find and categorize. 
• Not an update, but a clarification - Bats will continue to be their own items for crafting and not a site-currency.

New Areas to Explore, New Bases to Collect

We have two new areas to explore and two new explore-only bases to collect!

Your herd can now explore the Snowy Peaks and Spirit Bay regions. Each region has a different set of loot that can be collected.
You can also find the very rare Spirit Bay and Icy Wind bases.

We've also updated the special explore-specific bases to have the "Specialty Bases" trait listing. 
Hopefully, this will help keep things clear as to which bases you can get with the Color Changing Potion and MYOs and which are event or explore-specific.

Participating will earn you your very own Ancient Sprout.

Site Updates

Finally, we have some exciting site updates!
Say goodbye to our OneDrive, because we're making it easier than ever to find the traits you're looking for.

Moving forward, you'll be able to click on the trait on-site and download the png files for customization directly from the trait page itself.
Simply click the "Download PNGs" drop down to see which variations are available.

Accessories, likewise, will be able to be downloaded from their item page in the Encyclopedia, and companions will be downloadable from their Pet entries.

Keep in mind that we have hundreds of files to move over. If you can't find something on-site at the moment, check the OneDrive. It may have not been moved yet.
Once we've migrated all our files from OneDrive to the site, we'll be discontinuing OneDrive support.

A mid-week update? Strange...

Oops! We forgot something very important in our last update - the Bogged Base.

You can now get the Bogged Base when you complete the Fight or Flight prompt. This is one of a few reward you'll be given for completing the prompt.
The Bogged base will only be available for events related to The Necromancer, so once this event is over the base will be semi-retired until he makes an appearance again, so get it while you can!

As a note, the base has been retroactively rewarded to everyone who has completed the prompt already.

The winter holiday season has begun and we have a lot of updates for you!

Gifts and Gift Wrapping

You can now gift-wrap gifts you'd like to send to your friends!
Sophie's Shoppe has been stocked with wrapping paper for a mere 5SS. After you purchase the wrapping paper, you can go to your inventory and click the wrapping paper. 
Select the item you'd like to wrap, and lovingly wrap the item with the wrapping paper. The item will then show as the wrapped box when sent to your friends!

Secret Santa

Which brings us to our next event, our Secret Santa!
Like last year, you'll be able to send gifts to the Admin account to enter. These will be randomly distributed to everyone who enters along with a special gift from Keepers of Eniv.

Rules:

• No crafting or "bulk need" items. This means things like seeds, fish, flowers, feathers, or any other common, low-rarity item which requires a lot of them for use.
• You may include Enivi or MYOs if you're feeling extra generous. 
• If you choose to gift wrap your gift, be sure to check the box which displays what items are inside.
• Send all gifts to the Admin account and we'll handle the rest from there.
• This hasn't happened in the past, but on the off-chance you don't receive a gift by Dec 26th, let us know! We'll look into what happened and make it right.
• All gifts must be sent by December 23rd, 2022 at 12:01am. This gives us time to distribute the gifts

It's Snowing!

It's snowing in Eniv! That means it's time for some fun wintery activities.

Keep an eye out around the site for Snowballs and Candy Canes!
These may be in the form of scavenger hunts, or may be randomly found here and there.
You can also find snowballs through seasonal prompts and exploring the Snowy Peaks. 

Candy Canes can be used to get the Candy Cane base and related accessories and traits from the Holiday Shop.

Snowballs can be used to craft piles of snowballs and Snow Enivi!
The more effort you put into your Snow Enivi, the nicer the outcome will be.

The Beauty Contest has officially rolled over again!
We're changing things up to winter for the Beauty Contest a little early with the plan to start making site changes on the first Monday of the month instead of waiting for the equinox. 
Starting with this next beauty contest (which has just begun, be sure to enter!) the top 3 will receive Ice Crown Horns, a new exclusive Beauty Contest winter trait!

General Site Updates

• We've had a few small bumps over the past few days with our recent updates. If you notice any stray Ortusi Hooves, please report them as a bug. If you're the first to report it, you'll get 75 Star Shards as a reward!
• Our Charity Event will be announced on Monday, along with a beautiful Enivi we'll be raffling off for donations. Our charity will once again be Toys for Tots, so get ready to give some kids a happy holiday.
• The default layout has been changed to our winter holiday theme! Be sure to check it out!
• We're aware that there were some issues with the Advent Calendar not showing until later today. Don't worry, the calendar has been reset to start today so it won't impact anyone getting their monthly bonus gift.

We want to be clear that we do not allow AI generated content to be included in artwork on our site.

Being forward with everyone, we understand that this could be confusing because we very openly used AI artwork as textures and paint-overs in our recent event videos, and previously stated that it could be used as photobashing. This was before the full understanding of how these images were created was public, and many of the images were created using our own artwork combined with textures and photobashing. 

Now, knowing that the AI generated images are created from stolen artwork (including offical Keepers of Eniv artwork), we can't in good faith allow them to be part of a game that is entirely built on artistic expression and the hard work of our artist community.

To be clear, we are also not allowing AI generated writing, music, or any other AI generated content.

On an unrelated note, we'll be posting our new Charity Adoptable Enivi tomorrow. All procedes will go to Toys for Tots, so keep an eye out for that update!

We've been quiet for the past month while we've been busy at work setting up the character creator and making touch-ups to the Lunaesi base!

We've redone not just the base, but also the markings and other traits to make sure they're all fitting properly.
We've also recreated the colors of the bases and markings to make them more true to life, and added a lot of additional colors as well. 
The Lunaesi base now comes in the following colors:

New hooves for the Lunaesi are already available on site.

We are human though, so if you notice anything off with the updated traits and how they fit, be sure to let us know!

A few of our markings have been updated as well. You'll notice that Swirls and Racing Stripe now have the updated form for Lunaesi. In the future, the other bases will have these traits as well. The Stockings trait on the Lunaesi base has also been redone to look nicer, and like the others, will be updated for the other bases as we redo them. 

FAQ

Q) Can I keep using the old base?
A) Yes! If you're partial to the old base, you're welcome to keep using it. Knowthat going foward all new traits and accessories will be made for the new base, but you're welcome to manually refit them to the old one as long as it stays within our rules.

Q) Do I have to change the base on my Lunaesi right away?
A) No rush, take your time. There's no time limit for when you can change to the new base.

Q) Do I need a special item or anything to update to the new base?
A) Nope, you can get all the files and update any time you'd like to.

Q) Will you still be releasing a Fluffy version of the Lunaesi?
A) We do still plan to, but not until after we've got the other bases updated as well.

Q) Can we still color-shift the bases and markings?
A) Of course! The only real change as far as use with this update is that we've added a bunch of new colors for our friends who don't enjoy creating visual art to have access to. These will all be available in the character creator as well.

Traits Update

Many of our traits and bases have been moved from the OneDrive onto the site. 
If your Enivi is missing a trait they previously had, please submit a bug report on site or in our Discord Server and we'll get that updated for you ASAP.

We've got some nice updates on this Friday the 13th!

In our effort to keep the game fair and from being pay-to-win, we've admittedly neglected the Hidden Cove quite a bit. 
We're going to start adding in some additional traits and accessories for you to spend your Gems on.

To start off the Hidden Cove update, we've added the Regent's Halo Crown, Starstone Horns, Seraph Ears, and Forest Crown Antlers.

Each of these are one-time use! Please keep in mind that the Forest Crown Antlers come with a variety of different, pre-made options. You're welcome to use any of those, decorated or not, on your Enivi when you purchase that trait. If you'd like to change them later, a color-changing potion or dye is all you'll need. You won't need to buy the trait twice when an Enivi already has it.

We'll be adding more in the future, but thought these would be nice additions for the time being.

Let’s get started with…

The Character Creator

We’ve done it! We’ve finally launched the character creator!

You can find the link under “Resources” in the main navigation bar.
The character creator is a two-three part system;

First, you can learn about and choose your Enivi’s herd. Feel free to take a moment to look through the herd mini-bios and peek at the sample Enivi before making your choice. 

Once you’ve decided what kind of character you want to make, you can start adding traits, markings, and accessories. Feel free to have fun and customize your Enivi!

When you’re happy with how your Enivi looks, you can submit your character for approval directly through their MYO.
But oh no! What if you forgot to get your MYO first? Don’t worry, you can also export the image as a .png and save it to submit the character later. You can also save a .png to paint out clipping issues or paint in custom markings.

FAQ:

1. Q. Am I required to use the character creator now that it’s been launched?
   A. No, not at all. If you’d like to continue to use the site-assets to build your Enivi “free-hand”, go right ahead! You can still custom-fit your ears, pets, and other accessories and traits (within their allowed limits, haha - we don’t want to see any noses on butts out there). You’re also welcome to use a mix of the character creator, site assets, and free-hand if you’d like. For example, using the character creator to make a grey-scale model of the Enivi you want and then custom coloring it on your own.
   
   
2. Q. Why have a character creator at all?
   A. Not everyone enjoys the process of designing characters in the same way. Some people aren’t fond of visual art. They prefer writing or developing their character to designing them piece by piece. The character creator is meant to offer more options to those who find that portion of the game less enjoyable, and would rather just get into playing with their Enivi.
   
   
3. Q. I’ve noticed that some traits on some Enivi have clipping issues. What’s up with that?
   A. We have so many different customization options that there will be some traits that don’t blend perfectly with others. Don’t worry, you’re welcome to touch up those areas in your own art program or to ask for help on our forums or in our Discord server.
   
   
4. Q. Why don’t the Vespiri have as many color options as the other herds?
   A. The Vespiri are still waiting for their base touch-up! They’re next on the list. As soon as that happens they’ll get all the colors the other bases have, and then we’ll focus on making more colors and themes available.
   
   
5. Q. I’ve noticed a bug, what should I do?
   A. Let us know! Please submit a bug report on site or in our Discord server.
   Please note that these are not bugs:
   + All traits/herds not having the same colors available.
   + Clipping issues unless it’s extreme (unless Vespiri, which are about to have their base redone, so please don’t report clipping issues for Vespiri, thanks!)
   + Kids do not have scars, weapons, blood, or armor available. 

On that note, please keep in mind that we’re freshly releasing this feature, so there’s bound to be a few missed bugs and human error (but we’ve been beta testing it for a while so we believe we have most things ironed out, but nothing is ever perfect, haha). Don’t feel bad about asking questions or bringing things to our attention, we’ll get things fixed as soon as we can and we’re happy to hear your thoughts and feedback even if it isn’t something we can implement right away.

The Ortusi Rebase

The Ortusi rebase is complete!

All markings, traits, and accessories have been transferred over and are already waiting for you to use.

We’ve taken the time to smooth out some anatomy issues, correct some shading errors, and add some additional detail to the Ortusi base. We hope you enjoy the updates as much as we do!

We’ve also updated the Ortusi hooves to go with the base update.

As with the Lunaesi base update, you’re not required to change your Ortusi’s base, so don’t worry, there’s no punishment or rush to change your characters over, but going forward all new traits will be made to match the new base.

The snow melts, leaves unfurl, and spring has finally begun to set in around Eniv.
As the lush green returns to the trees the fields are dotted with an array of beautiful flowers and mystical creatures - and the Druaesi are ready to celebrate!

Despite the "strange occurrences" at the Festival of Lights this year, the Druaesi are still willing to open their doors to the other herds to show their support. Living in the Dark Forest, they've had their share of run-ins with evil magic before, and now is a time to come together, not pull apart.

They've invited all the herds to return to them again to celebrate the coming of spring and Druae's gifts to the world.

Changes to the Event this Year

First off, let's break character for a moment to discuss a few changes we've made!

Enivi will no longer need to "travel" to the event in order to participate. When we made this rule it was intended to be a fun bit of lore, but instead it seemed more like a road block for people who just wanted to get into the festivities. Instead, your Enivi will be able to simply show up and have some fun!

New Traits

We've introduced a few new traits for your Enivi;

English Ivy, Cherry Blossom Antlers, Calla Lily Tail, and Fir Mane. 

English Ivy, Calla Lily Tail, and Fir Mane can be earned through the event and prompts while the Cherry Blossom Antlers are for the Beauty Contest winners all through spring, so don't forget to enter the Beauty Contest!

Searching for Moinir

Many of the Druaesi are excitedly already searching for the magical rabbit spirit, Moinir!
It's said that if you follow Moinir's trail of acorns and catch them, they'll grant you a single wish.

Keep an eye out for acorns appearing around Eniv, as well as rabbit trails. If you collect enough acorns you may be able to tempt some of Moinir's followers to join you as well, and it seems like word has spread from the forest to the meadow, and a new Moini has appeared:

The Meadow Moini will take a lot of convincing to come with you, but if you gather enough acorns you may be able to befriend them.

Shop Updates

Shops have rolled over into their spring stock. This includes the event shop where you'll be able to use acors to claim yourself a Moini, Meadow Moini, Forest Fey, Cotton Tail, or Forest Fey My Sweet Enivi!

PRompts

We've also updated the prompts for the event! As mentioned above, you no longer need to travel to the event before participating.
A few spring and Druaesi-related prompts are currently available with more to come in the week as the event progresses.

Also, keep an eye out for the Druaesi Ancient Sprout give-a-way we do with this event (ready your craft supplies!)

For those of you not in the Discord server, I've been going through some personal things and taking a little time off to handle the emotional aspects of some recent upsetting news.
I'm getting back into work and working on the site, and we have some exciting new updates on the way.

Speaking of which - you may notice that Fishing is currently down.

Don't worry! We're getting a nice fishing update and the game will be back shortly with some fresh new updates!

As is a bit of tradtion, Keepers of Enivi is hosting a bit of a donation drive for the month of June (and a week into July)! We have two lovely Enivi for the month designed by Staff. You can put forth your donations to either Enivi.  This drive starts today, June 9th, and will run until July 9th.

Donations should be gifted toThe Trevor Project. For every five dollars you donate, you will recieve a raffle ticket towards one of our raffle Enivi, as well as a Pride Chest.

To be entered into the raffle, please message Modmail on Discord with an image of your receipt, and indicate which Enivi you'd want to enter the raffle for.

If you choose not to use Discord, you can submit an image of your receipt using the Community Care prompt. This won't be submitted to the Gallery. Instead, you'll recieve the Pride Chest, and a raffle ticket to whichever Enivi you choose.

In both cases, please make sure a date is visible.

Fishing Update

Fishing just got a whole lot more exciting!
Fishing has undergone a huge update, so we'd like to take a few moments to explain the changes;

Levels
Fishing levels now determine what kind of fish you can catch. The higher your level, the bigger, rarer, and more expensive fish you can catch.
Some extremely rare "boss fish" can be found as well. For these fish, you'll need to use special bait and meet a required level.
For example, you'll need a bait that is at least "4" in strength and be at least fishing level 30 to have a chance at reeling in the new Sailfish.
"But there is no level four bait!" I hear your Enivi shout behind you. Good call! 

Bait
You can now buy up to level 3 bait from Sophie's Shoppe. Higher level baits can be crafted, but you'll need to find the recipe hidden somewhere on the site. Sometimes these will be attached to items. We'd recommend keeping an eye out for bottles with strange bait components in them. 
With the upcoming release of beekeeping, honey will also be able to be used to make more efficient bait.
For the truly adventurous Enivi, you'll want to keep an eye out for treasure map pieces if you ever want to reel in the Kraken.

Fish
Different fish have different requirements to be caught. 
Rather than being seasonal, fish require a specific bait strength and player fishing skill level (individual Enivi don't have their own fishing levels, it's all in your hands).
We also added a few new fish to the game;
Our Dumbo Octopus, Nautilus, and Sailfish!



All fish can be sold from your inventory or turned into companions via crafting, but extra large fish like Sailfish, Dream Kitefish, Royal Kitefish, Mola Molas, and Great White Sharks can all be crafted into Big Bulk Bait.
Hey, it's your fish.

Achievements
We've added two new achievements to the fishing game as well;
Shark Bait for catching a Great White Shark and It Keeps Getting Cheddar for players who catch cheese!

The Festival of the Sun has begun!

Take part in Ortusi prompts and games, earn and find Ancient Ortusi Shoes, and use them in the Event Shop to get unique items. 
You can find a full list of both old and new festival prompts linked on the Current Event page, and under Festival of the Sun under prompts.

Like our other events, we no longer have the requirement that your Enivi travel to the event before taking part in it, so feel free to hop right in!

Summer Bug Hunt

The Summer Bug Hunt has also begun!

This year, the Bug Hunt will take place until September 30th, and will be available through Exploring.
Send your Enivi into the open fields to catch amazing insects!
You'll also be able to purchase additional nets through Sophie's Shoppe.

Have you always dreamed of tending to your own Thunderbee hive? Helping those sweet little workers thrive and sharing the delicious honey they create?
Now, you'll finally have the opportunity!

Beekeeping is a new tab found under Gardening (listed under Games in the navigation menu). While you'll start on your main Farm, you'll see the tab for Beekeeping beside it;

To start your own hive, you'll need to create a Thunderbee House in Crafting.

There are currently four different Thunderbee Houses;
Bee Basket, Basic Bee House, Bee-Themed Bee House, and Rustic Bee House.
Each of these require different crafting ingredients, but give the same amount of honey - one Raw Honeycomb per day of care.

You can keep up to two Thunderbee Houses at a time and the Thunderbees don't die if you forget to care for them, but they will stop sharing their honey.

Raw Honey Comb can be collected and refined through Crafting to become Jars of Raw Honey, which can currently be used to make better, honey-dipped bait.
While the idea of a Honey-Dipped Nightcrawler might make your Enivi's stomach turn, the fish seem to really love it!

Every month, we'll release a new puzzle on the Monthly Puzzle page (linked under Games in the navigation bar).
When you believe you have the right answer, you can submit your completed sheet to the Monthly Sudoku Prompt (linked for your convenience on the page), and at the end of each month we'll reward prizes to everyone who solved the puzzle correctly.
If you got some of the answers wrong, we'll send the puzzle back to you and give you a second chance and a one-week extention. 

Prizes each month will range depending on the theme of the month and the difficulty of the puzzle.

It seems we forgot to mention what you can do with all those gross Slime Balls you're collecting - oopsie!
If you head over to your recipies, you'll find a new recipe for Mysterious Slime! 15 Slime Balls will get you one full Mysterious Slime.
It's weird to say, but I have a hunch you'll need one in the near future.

Multi-Profile Images

Finally, a reason to dress up your Enivi!

You can now upload 3 alternate images of your Enivi (5 if you have a Premium account! ) and choose between which you'd like to have shown as your Enivi's main profile image, or which you'd like to have as backup images. This means you have a little additional freedom to customize your Enivi for the Beauty Contest or other events (or even just for some seasonal fun) and still keep their main reference image.

Let's walk through out to use this very simple new feature together;

• First, go to your Enivi's profile and click update design (located in the vertical menu on the left-hand side under "settings").
• Next, click the "create request" button as if you were updating your Enivi's overall look.
• Fill out the tabs as you normally would when you make an update or change to your Enivi's design. If you haven't done this before, we have a helpful guide here.
• This is where things get a little different. Under the Masterlist Image tab, at the bottom you'll see a new section that reads "Alternate Image Settings". After you've uploaded your image file, make sure to toggle the "Is Alternate Image" button to "On". This will create a new alternate image for your Enivi.
  • NOTE: You must have an image uploaded to toggle the button on. If you forget to toggle the button to "On", be sure to upload your image again before toggling the button from "Off" to "On".
    
• Finally, submit your request as you normally would. Once it's approved by staff, your Enivi will have multiple profile images and their profile will look something like this;

You can change which image shows as your main image at any time by going to your Enivi's profile, and clicking Edit Profile, which is located under Settings in the verticle menu on the left-hand side of the page.
At the bottom of this page, you'll see an area labeled "Alternate Images". Here, you can choose which image is is your Enivi's current main image by selecting the box beside that image and clicking the blue "Set Active Image" button.

Once you've done this, it'll show your Enivi's selected image on their profile as their main image;

A few other notes about the Alternate Images for Enivi;

• The main image you select is the image that will be shown in on your Enivi's profile as the largest image.
• If the alternate images (which are shown below the main image) are clicked, they expand into a full view of that image.
• The main image of your Enivi is what will be entered into the Beauty Contest. If you change your image part way through the contest, even after being entered, it will show the updated image.

Autumn Prompts Update

The seasonal prompts have been updated! 
You can now visit the Guiding Lights Festival and take part in your favorite seasonal autumn prompts!

While the Guiding Lights Festival is much more muted and calm this year, we'll have more in the way of spooky prompts and fun coming this weekend.

Slime Hunt

There may not be zombies at the moment but there is a terrible amount of green goo around Eniv. 
Who or what could be making this terrible mess is a mystery, but we could use a hoof cleaning it up.
Collect balls of slime to help clean Eniv up and help find out what's going on.

As a small reminder, the September Sudoku is due on October 14th, so make sure to get your puzzles in!

Site Bugs Update - Smooth Sailing Ahead!

In the realm of progress, we've successfully tackled many pesky bugs on the site.
A massive shoutout to Newt and Wisperia for their tireless efforts in bug-squashing. Your dedication is the backbone of Eniv, and we're truly grateful!

While most bugs are now a distant memory, a couple still linger. Animated avatars may appear larger than expected on mobile, and our daily games (both wheels and Seren's Daily Gift) are currently taking a short break.
Fear not, our tech wizards are on the case! If you spot any elusive bugs during your Eniv adventures, please report them so we can swiftly address them.

We'd also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your patience during our recent power outage caused by winter storms.

Site Updates

We've had a few site updates over the last few days:

• Our Community Promise page has gotten a refresh. Our promise to remain transparent, friendly, and fun has remained the same, but the formatting and some of the wording have been updated for clarity (and fun!)
• The wording of our Harassment section of our Discord rules was updated. Again, nothing has changed, but we clarified what some of the terms being used meant (like "white knighting" and "gatekeeping"), and we condensed rules that were repetitive.
• We're still working on the fix for our Dailies, but we expect them to be back up and running again soon!
• Our Art and Star Shard rules have been updated, like the others, to be more clear. Nothing has changed, but we're working on our wording there as well.
• Avatars showing huge in the gallery have been moved back down to their normal size.
• The nav bar has been updated to add a link to our Discord server!

Hey everyone, spring is here and we've got some exciting updates brewing for all you Enivi farmers out there!

We're thrilled to introduce a brand new feature: Create-Your-Own Fertilizer!
What's farming without a bit of dirt under your nails, right?
Starting today, Enivi will be able to get their hooves dirty and craft their own fertilizer.

But hold on, we're not stopping there! We wanted to make sure this feature really gets our players engaged and feeling like part of the action.
So, who better to walk you through it than our very own Sophie? Take it away, Sophie!

To make this experience even more immersive, we've come up with an engaging way to keep you, the player, actively involved in the process!

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty because you'll need to clean up and clear away any "dropped fertilizer" from your Enivi, piece by piece. Just rapidly tap your screen or click with your mouse to start to gather your unprocessed fertilizer.
And just to keep things interesting, you might encounter some classic CAPTCHA-style puzzles along the way to ensure no auto-clickers are sneaking in.
Ready for the challenge? We know you are!

Enivi will start producing unprocessed fertilizer every 5 minutes (for Premium account Enivi, it's every 2 minutes!). Keep an eye on the "Poop Meter" to see how much unprocessed fertilizer has built up while you were away.
The "Started" timer indicates how long it's been since your Enivi's page was completely cleared.

But watch out! If left for too long, you might notice flies starting to gather. Who knows? Maybe this could hint at another exciting farming feature in the works!

Can't get to your Enivi to clean up right away?
Don't worry, their profile image will hold the mess for you until you get back, building up around your Enivi until you have time to "do the scoop"!

Once you've gathered enough fertilizer, you can begin the long, grinding, and slightly possibly fulfilling task of processing it for use! To do this-

We have a big and exciting update for you today! It's a lot of information we're excited to share!
Let's hop into things!

KICKSTARTER UPDATE

We've had a few hiccups with the Kickstarter notifications and miscommunications, but fear not! You'll still have the chance to support the features you've been wanting to pledge towards.

Before we dive into that, we wanted to share a bit of personal news. Tony recently faced some tough times with the loss of his beloved service dog and then encountered some severe health issues shortly after the Kickstarter launched. It's been a rollercoaster, but we're happy to report that Tony's health is improving, and things are looking up and he's back to work again!
Running a Kickstarter is no small feat, especially when it was initially planned as a two-person project. With everything going on, we realized that now wasn't the right time for a large-scale campaign, hence the delay in our plans for virtual events like parties and livestreams. We'd brought this up during the virtual community meeting, but it seems the Kickstarter wasn't fully pulled down until much later (sorry for that! It looks like we missed a step). 

Now that the skies are clearing up, we wanted to give you all a chance to help the site again and also get those cool rewards you'd wanted, but we also wanted to refocus our efforts to make sure we're funding the features you're most looking forward to!
We want to know which specific features you're most excited about funding. Your input will shape the future of the game, and we couldn't be more thrilled to embark on this journey with you.

Your unwavering support means the world to us, and we're beyond grateful to have such an amazing community backing us every step of the way.

THE NEW FUNDRAISER

So, where do we go from here?
Firstly, addressing the available donation tiers!

This week, we'll be making the following donation tiers available for purchase via donation. 
You'll just need to contact us to say you'd like to make the donation and we'll get it processed for you. Some of the tiers have been changed, so please pay close attention!
It's unfortunate, but we're not able to do physical merch at this time without the larger funding available.

The "Good Will Tier" applies to all other tiers going forward as well. If you donate at all, you get this tier!

REARING TO GO - $200 donation

+ The limited edition rearing up pose!
+ Once unlocked, an additional 3 pose transfers can be purchased for $55.
+ This pose is a custom painted pose that your Enivi is transfered onto. The body type and expression can be changed, and markings are hand-painted onto the new base.

+ Another exciting and long-coming change is we've redone our Design Guide & Welcome Guide! 
+ Taking your feedback we've broken the sections down into easier-to-find and easier-to-read categories for convenience.

STAFF CHANGES

+ We've had some staffing updates recently which we'd like to make sure you're all aware of! 
+ To start, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to Synesthesia, who's time with us on the team and hard work really cannot be overstated. They've chosen to step down from the position of Lead Moderator and return to being a player first and foremost. 
+  The team moving forward is going to consistently have holidays and weekends off. This means that tickets/claims/submissions will be processed during weekdays, allowing our team the opportunity to have consistent rest, and to practice the self care that we ask our players to show themselves. That leads us into our next big announcement: 

HIRING ADMIN ASSISTANT

+ With these new staff schedule updates, we're wanting to increase coverage by hiring a freelance Administrative Assistant! 
+ Responsibilities, expectations, and initial interview questions listed here.
+ We'll be hiring whoever is the best fit for the role based on experience, availability, etc. If you're interested, feel free to apply. 

(Note: We do require all applicants to be 18 years or older.)

Beauty Contest Updates:

+ Quick patch notes: The Beauty Contest was giving away Flowering Branchlers for the past 4 weeks, but was meant to be giving away Cherry Blossom Branchlers. We've updated it to properly give out the intended award now.

New Sophie MSE, now in the shops!

+ You heard us right! Sophie's official My Sweet Enivi is now in the shops. Keep an eye out for your chance to obtain this new addition to your MSE collections!

+ In an exclusive quote when asked what her thoughts were about this big release, Sophie said she was relieved to have gotten rid of all of the fake knock-off MSEs she could find before the big day hit where she could start selling her very own official MSE.

+ This is part of our efforts to try to be more transparent about what we're working on, what features we're ready to start, and where we are in the development of said features.

Each year, the Druaesi host a special, sacred event to honor the forest spirits and the coming of spring.
Trees come into flowering bloom, food becomes plentiful, and the forest itself wakes from it's wintery slumber.
The Druaesi honor this event with a celebration including games, offerings, and storytelling.

A race through the trees to catch the elusive and clever Moinir, a glowing, mystical rabbit-like being that enhances the forest's growth wherever it hops. 
Enivi are urged to chase this spirit (it's always in good fun!) and if they can catch it, Moinir is said to bestow great blessings and rewards. 

Where do I get started?

Come and check out our event page (linked in the header!) where we have a trail of Moini tracks and acorns to follow, an adventure for new Enivi setting hoof into the Dark Forest for the first time or returning to make the trek back into the Verdant Hollow, and maybe even an encounter with some of the Dark Forest's less savory denizens!

What's coming soon?

Great question! We're glad you asked.
+ We have the last few traits needing updates from the large scale transfers for the new Vespiri base on the to-do list for completion within the next 2 weeks.
+ There's only a few crystal bases needing transfers remaining before those are uploaded and ready to go. 
+ We also have plans to remake the different rangers' cloaks, armors, hoofboots, and weapon sets to be a more cohesive full outfit to collect.
+ There's a few new hairstyles currently in the works for greater customization opportunities!

You might have already noticed a shiny new addition to the navigation bar. Your Star Shard balance is now proudly displayed for you to check any time.
But wait, there's more - we've given our Star Shard payouts a major makeover!

From here on out, we're boosting Star Shard rewards for your Gallery submissions. Get ready to rake in more Star Shards than ever before! While we're putting the finishing touches on the updated Star Shard Guide, we're here to give you the rundown on our revamped reward system:

First things first, choose the size of your masterpiece. Headshots reward you 3SS, while Half Body pieces earn you 6SS, and Full Body illustrations net you a whopping 10SS.

Next up, it's all about the finishing touches. Sketches and "Minis" come with a finish bonus of "0" – don't worry, that's not a bug! It just means you're still banking on that awesome size rate. If you opt for a Full Body sketch, you're still looking at a payout of 10SS so far.

Add some color and watch those Star Shards stack up!
Flat Colored images score a sweet bonus of 4 for headshots, 6 for half bodies, and 8 for full bodies. And if you've added some depth with shading, you're in luck! Enjoy a Shaded bonus of 6 for headshots, 10 for half bodies, or 14 for full bodies.

Added shading? Earn 10 for headshots, 14 for half bodies, or a whopping 18 for full bodies.

Background bonus? You betcha! Simple backgrounds snag an extra 3 SS, while moderate backgrounds earn you 25, and complex backgrounds score a jaw-dropping 45.

And that's not all! We've sprinkled in a few extra bonuses for those special moments:

• Art Trades: +5 SS
• Gift Art: +10 SS
• Drawing the Enivi of the Month: +5 SS
• Interaction Bonus: +5 SS
• Pets Included: +3 SS

But hold onto your paintbrushes, because here comes the pièce de résistance – the new "Epic Bonus"!
This beauty is worth a whopping 25 SS and is awarded when you've truly pushed your artistic boundaries. Think complex angles, dynamic colors, moody shading – anything that takes your artwork to the next level. Just remember, this award is all about pushing yourself to new heights, and our staff may deny the award if the piece doesn't pack that extra punch.
The Epic bonus is, of course, eligble for written works as well! Really take us into your story and pull us into the scene and your characters to earn this bonus!

So, as an example for a breakdown of a full body, cell shaded piece with a moderate background of one Enivi with no pets or other bonuses (not gift art, not a trade, not Enivi of the Month, etc);
Full Body: 10SS
Shaded: 14SS
Moderate Background: 25SS
Total: 49SS

That's a much better amount for the work being submitted if we do say so ourselves.

We'll be working tirelessly to update the guide ASAP, but we couldn't wait to share these exciting changes with you.

Well, you'd better be ready to get them dirty too, because you'll have to get into some arts and crafts to earn one of these ultra-rare Character Slot Tokens!

We've released the "Crafty Druaesi" prompt, which is available now through May 14th, where you're tasked to create a real life recreation of a Druaesi from natural materials.
Everyone who completes the prompt will be awarded their own Ancient Sprout - the only way to create your own Druaesi!

Guide Updates!

• Both the Star Shard Guide and How to Submit a Prompt Guide have been updated over the weekend and have just gone live, so be sure to check those out!

Our goals are being set as a community of games, not just as Keepers, and that being said it's only fitting that everyone in our community benefits from the generosity shown. 
For each landmark we meet, we'll be celebrating with a grand reward.

• $2500 - A claimable gift box for 500 SS and 50G for all players through August 1st in Sophie's Shoppe!
• $5000 - A new, upgraded form for a companion* chosen by the community and a Rainbow Potion claimable by all players until August 1st!
• $7500 - 5 new companions, companion art revamps, or companion upgrades chosen by the community!
• $10,000 - A new Questline (similar to the Necromancer Questlines, but playable year round)!

Today's news is filled with some fun new graphics, a development update, some new items, honoring a very special Enivi, and what to expect from the rest of the month.

What an achievement! 
We've been handing out Soul Spire Wings like we didn't expect, and we can't wait to see them on some Enivi.
More than that, we're so touched that so many people have come together to donate toward this amazing cause. 

That being said, we're absolutely thrilled to say the first gift to you all - The ARPGs for Pride Celebration Box - is now available in Sophie's Shoppe to claim FOR FREE!
Yes! Even if you did not donate, you get the ARPGs for Pride Celebration Box! This is a community fundraiser, and not everyone is in a position to be able to donate, but we're all in this together, so be sure to grab the first of many reward as we unlock them as our big LGBTQIA+ family!

In other news...

Rainbow Bases and Rainbow Potions

There was a time when Rainbow bases were difficult to create. 
Enivi with a rainbow base would need to create them through multiple layered gradients (over and over and over). 
In honor of Pride Month, we've simplified the process with the introduction of the Rainbow Potion;

The Rainbow Potion can be earned every year in June through our Pride Month Fundraiser, or through crafting the rest of the year (beginning July 2024).
Crafting a Rainbow Potion will still be difficult, but it will allow you to add the premade Rainbow Base to your Enivi (which, yes, is color-shiftable for those of you who might prefer something brighter, darker, or to have the colors in a different order). You can also still hand-make your own Rainbow Base if you'd like, but you're welcome to use the premade one as well. 

Enivi who already have a Rainbow Base can be upgraded to Legendary status by submitting an update with a note that they have the Rainbow Base - no potion required.

But the Rainbow Potion doesn't just stop at bases, you can also apply it to markings and other traits as well! We've taken the time to pre-make a handful of popular markings in the new "Rainbow" color for your ease and have already added them to the Character Creator for your Enivi to enjoy.

For now, the Rainbow Potion is available as part of our Fundraiser for The Trevor Project for a mere $5(USD), which also unlocks all the other traits in the ARPG bundle (What an easy way to get the Soul Spire Wings!!!)

Site Development Update

We're still working harder than a Druaesi druid in spring to bring you a wonderfully updated site!
As you may remember, in May we had a looong meeting with our development team to sort out what would be best for a new site layout that was clean, cozy, mobile friendly, easy to navigate (because let's face it, we're a little messy right now), and feels like our own original site. We discussed what was important for Keepers of Eniv, our community, our expectations, and what we could do to make the game run smoothly in addition to the layout updates.
Yesterday we made some huge steps toward being able to show you what we've done!
The site isn't quite ready yet, but we're setting the date for the next steps while we smooth out the code, squash any bugs, and tie up any loose ends. We're aiming for longevity.

In the meantime, we've started to update some of our other pages with new graphics, like our news post here! As I'm sure you've noticed, we have some cute and cozy graphics for new headers. These will change seasonally and with events.

Don't worry, the Enivi bases won't be getting some crazy new simplified update, though our NPCs are being redone in the style we used for Oathbreakers (thanks for voting!). We haven't forgotten, we're still working on that!

Sale Enivi Feedback

We've been getting some feedback lately that you'd like to see more Enivi for sale.
Speaking as Tony specifically and not for the team on this one, I was honestly a little taken by surprise by this, haha!
I'm always worried that we're going to be pushing too hard and seem like a "pay to win" game, but I also understand the draw of a beautifully made pre-made character. 

That being said, we wanted to let everyone know that now that we're caught up on assets for ARPGs for Pride, we're going to be working on making some very fancy purchasable Enivi. 
Any we put up this month will strictly go toward The Trevor Project's funds. Moving forward after that, they'll fund the site.

It might come as a surprise to many of you, but we do have a guest artist coming in July with an absolutely stunning design for a Vespiri and Ortusi. We'll announce more on this next week so you'll have time to save up funds if you'd like to. The funds will be going to the artist and the designs are absolutely worth saving for.

That being said, we'll also be looking into more guest artists in the future if these are well received, but we never want an artist to feel bad if their work doesn't sell and that's always a risk.
This first artist is a sort of "trial artist" for us, who has been working with us to figure out how we're best going to handle guest artist submissions in the future (you know who you are and if you see this, thank you again for being so kind and patient!)

We can't wait to show you what they've made!

The Summer Bug Hunt is on!
Grab your nets and head on over to the foraging game where you can try to catch bugs to collect or craft into rare or legendary traits!
You can also buy a Bug Net from Sophie's Shoppe if you can catch them before they run out of stock. Better hurry, I heard they fly off the shelves (eh? ehh?)

Welcome back, Keepers!

We've been working harder than an Ortusi in summer to bring you this update, so we're excited to share this giant update with you all!
First, we want to give a huge thank you to Wisperia for coding and helping us design these wonderful changes, and to our patient and supportive community for your unwavering support and kindness while we tirelessly worked to create a site that's more friendly, fun, and easier to navigate both on desktop and mobile.
We couldn't do this without you!

We have a lot to go over, so let's get trotting!

When creating the look for our site, we knew from the beginning that we wanted Keepers of Eniv to be a fun, comfortable place for people to come when they're feeling stressed or overwhelmed. We knew we wanted people to come here and feel welcome, safe, and have a place they could play primarily low-pressure. We wanted our new look to reflect that.
Simple graphics and a "cozy" look were two of our primary goals for the new layout of the site. 
Something to bring joy and simplicity to your life.
Our design goal was to make the layout easy to read (on desktop and mobile), have information accessible, and to keep the site running smoothly and quickly.

Keen-eyed Keepers likely already noticed the new main page before you log in!
When making our new main page, we wanted to showcase the game, what we're about, and also some of our community.
We've added a section telling a bit about each of the herds, the game itself, and then a showcase of some of our favorite pieces submitted by the community. 
Your creative submissions are the breath in Keepers of Eniv, and we wanted to make sure they get the proper recognition they deserve, and a spot on our front page seemed fitting to show off the "staff picks" - but that's not all.

Once you've logged in, you'll be greeted by your Featured Enivi!
This is a new feature you can access under My Enivi. Choose your Featured Enivi from the drop-down menu and they'll greet you when you log in and sit proudly on your profile page. 
On the new logged-in page, you'll also have a fast pass to some of the most popular features on the site.

• A button to our Prompts is just below your greeting.
• A link to the Discord Server is in the mini-navigation bar.
• A quick link to your Garden is right beside it.
• Following is a link to the Character Creator.
• Next up is a button for the Games Room.
• You'll have an easy time finding the Item Directory in the mini-nav bar next.
• Finally, you'll never forget to enter the Beauty Contest again, or wonder who won first place!

These buttons scale with your browser, so they'll look good no matter what browser or resolution you're on.
These are, by no means, your only links around Eniv and you're encouraged to explore the rest of the site, but they should make for a good springboard for your daily journey into Eniv.
You'll also notice the Recent Gallery Submissions section, where you should most definitely check out, favorite, and comment on the most recent pieces submitted by our wonder Keepers!

If you take a leap over to your User Profile you'll see a whole new look there too!
User profiles are more sleek and show off information our community thought was most important.
The bloated sidebar was removed and instead replaced with icons for your favorite characters, your gallery, your favorite artwork, and your wish lists.
Comments were moved to the bottom of your profile, and links to inventory, armory, and pets were moved into the main navigation bar at the top - where only you have access to them now. If another player were to get the link to your inventory, it would simply redirect them to the main page of the site, because the community has spoken and no one needs access to what your account has, save for you and staff.

You've likely already noticed, but the navigation bar has had a huge overhaul!
It's almost as if a team of Lunaesi have combed through the information and picked out what's most important, organized and categorized it, and finally put it all back together.
You should be able to find what you're looking for much more easily now, and while we do still have some updates to make on individual pages, we feel like this is headed in the right direction.

Finally, an update we don't want to confuse everyone with - "MYO Slots" have been replaced with "Character Slots".
This is a simple wording update, and doesn't change how the Character Creator or "MYOs" work, but the wording was confusing for people who aren't familiar with Art Role-Play Games (ARPGs) and it felt more comprehensive to simply call them "Character Slots".

There's still more updates to come as we work on cleaning up other pages!
Our next projects include cleaning up the Prompts and Quests page (and redoing many of our prompts and creating mini-quests), as well as cleaning up the new Tutorial Library.
Once those are finished, we'll be working on the NPC updates and a few new features (including Explore, which is a long-term project in the works).

First off, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for donating, sharing by word of mouth, and overall just being the wonderful, supportive, and generous community I've always known you to be!
Together, with our partners, ARPGs for Pride raised over $17,152.80 USD!!!!!
THAT'S SOME HECKIN' PRIDE!

Even better - with The Trevor Project backing us and matching our donations, our actual donated amount was a WHOPPING...

$67,186.80

and donations are still rolling in!

Honestly, this was beyond what we expected, and I think I can speak for the whole of ARPGs for Pride when I say a very honest and genuine THANK YOU!

We'll be honoring the donated amount from the community for our goals met, so that means we'll be doing the following activities;

• The claimable gift box will remain in Sophie's Shoppe until August 1st, 2024!
• A Rainbow Potion claimable will be added to Sophie's Shoppe shortly and will remain until August 1st, 2024!
• A community poll will be added in our Discord Server to decide which Companion will be given an upgraded form or art redo!
• 5 New companions will be added, artwork will be upgraded, or upgraded forms will be added! We'll discuss this after the first form has been decided!
• A new Questline will be added to the site similar to the Necromancer storyline, but this will be playable year-round.
• Gem Jackpot Rush will have it's cost lowered to 100 SS from July 8th through July 12th!
• A second questline will be added to the game (similar to the Necromancer storyline, but playable all year long!). This one will be finished after the first, of course!

Sophie's Shoppe update!

Sophie asked us to announce a new Shoppe update right around the corner! Construction has been underway, and now they're rounding the corner on her new Grand Refurbishing!  

We're just wrapping up the summer-themed background art (work-in-progress shown above) and are working on her dialogue options so she can better get to know her neighbors and customers.
Once that's finished, we'll be polishing up her avatars for the different emotions and reactions she'll have while she's interacting with you.

Some of the feature highlights:

• Sophie has always been the friendly sort. Soon you'll be able to really get to know her with different conversations. Be nice though, Sophie is in no way a pushover. She loves her friends, and is always taking great care of them when they're in need, but if you're rude or mean to her you won't win any favors. 

• Sophie's Shoppe has always been ahead of the trends, and as such she takes pride in decorating her Shoppe for the season! There'll be different looks for each season and holiday, with Sophie proudly displaying her wares and her festive attitude.

• Once the expressions/reactions are drawn we'll be finalizing them, running tests on the dialogue and Shoppe to make sure it's working right, adding in some special surprises, and her Shoppe's Grand Refurbishing will be complete! 

•  We had a special announcement here regarding some of the hidden surprises Sophie has planned, but Sophie made us redact them so that they won't be spoiled. You'll just need to find out about them on your own, so keep your eyes out! :D

Final Two Map pieces have been released!

The seers have spoken, Ortus has been watching closely this year as Enivi from all over Eniv travel to visit the Fire Festival.

Nine pieces of the treasure map have been spotted now!

The final two pieces are available for the right adventurers to claim. The next piece is surprisingly colorful for a map that's mostly just old weathered paper...

Once you've found all 9 pieces, you can put it together and discover some incredible loot in that hidden temple!

LIGHTHOUSE IN THE STORM

A strange storm is carried in by wind, wave, and eerie songs.
You race through the downpour of soaking rain and beating wind to find the only shelter in sight is an old lighthouse and it's keeper, Bill. 
But Bill has a dark past and a story to tell you might not believe until you set sail into those black waves yourself.

Lighthouse in the Storm is a replayable visual novel questline with three endings and a variety of rewards! 
It can be played as many times as you like, but the rewards can only be collected once per year per account, with the rewards become available again every August 1st.

Will you unravel the mystery or become another shipwrecked victim of the cursed storm?

SEA SHELL HUNT

Sea shells are showing up all over Eniv!

Despite the strange storm off in the distance, the warm weather has Enivi showing up in groups to spend time in the salt water and the sand. 
Find and collect shells all over the site this month, then turn them in at the Event Shop for cool seasonal rewards!

There's no hints this time, so feel free to work together before the shells wash away!

BUG HUNT

The seasonal Bug Hunt is coming to a close this month, so make sure to catch as many bugs as you can while you still have the chance!

You still have the chance to catch bugs using a net from Sophie's Shoppe or by foraging in the Bug Hunt area before the bugs move away for the autumn season.

The bugs you catch can be used in crafting to make a variety of foreground effects or wings, so be sure to catch as many as you can!

The Beauty Contest this month has a very special reward!

SITE UPDATES

Finally, a few site updates and announcements!

• We've encountered a small issue with uploading our beards update!
  We're working on getting it resolved and are expecting to have them out to you shortly, so your Enivi will be able to twirl their mustaches and braid their beards soon!
• Sophie's Shoppe is still coming along! The summer and autumn backgrounds are finished, with winter and spring coming along quickly. Sophie's dialogue, page revisions, and new masterlist images are being finished up, and her expressions are being worked on. We're hoping she'll be ready to go this month, but if not, you'll get to see her ready for fall!
• We know there are some issues with the fishing game that have gone unaddressed. We understand that this might be causing some confusion. We're currently working on the game in the background, so don't worry, we hear you and are working on things even if you can't see them happening right now.
• This is a huge news post! We don't want to overwhelm anyone withmore news so we'll be saving our raffle and sale Enivi updates for tomorrow. Thank you so much for your understanding!

The rushing waves have washed another round of Sea Shells ashore! There don't seem to be any riddles or hints with them this time, but those who are vigilant will find the shell scattered around the site.

Some are "old" (as in "old" in our site lore) an some are fresh and entirely new! 
Some are very common, and some are painfully rare. 
At least a few you'll only be able to get during specific times of the year, and some you'll have to hunt for in special ways.

Luckily, during the convention every My Sweet Enivi toy is available in one way or another! Can you find them all?

This is a specialty shop that's open only during the convention. Once the convention is over on October 1st, the shop will be gone, so be sure to grab any My Sweet Enivi you can while you can while the shop is still open. 
Some of the MSEs have limited availability, different stock times, and different rarities, so keep a look out. 
Trading between players is encouraged!

Why bother to start a collection if you can't show it off? 
With our new Showcases feature, you can show the world your new My Sweet Enivi collection and earn special awards!
If your Showcase has 25, 50, or 75 unique My Sweet Enivi designs in it, you can submit a claim to earn your profile award and join the special club of those who rank up!
Each award also comes with a My Sweet Enivi Mystery Box - giving you even more chances at those super rare MSEs you might be having a hard time getting. 

But Showcases aren't just for My Sweet Enivi - you can use them for anything you'd like! Each user can have up to 3 showcases, so create your Showcase and show it off today!

It's that time again! 
Time for some seasonal updates to the site!
We've gone ahead and updated the shops and farming!
As many of you know, we have a big update coming to fishing, so we'll be holding off on making the updates to that.

You may have noticed the layout and formatting for the My Sweet Enivi Convention prompts are a bit cleaner than our other current prompts.
We're about to do a big prompt overhaul. If you have any prompts you'd prefer we kept, or any prompts you have ideas for, please feel free to share them!
Otherwise, we'll be clearing most of our prompts and starting fresh with new, cleaner formats that should make our prompts easier to understand and follow along with.

Please be patient with us in this, as it's a big undertaking and something we've been planning for some time.

Hey everyone! Summer really held on tight this year, and we're here to announce a bit of a late start to Autumn's festivities. Since the Vespiri festival is starting late this year, it will be extending into next month, then end on the 18th of November so everyone has ample time to enjoy it.

For our potential future Guest Artists, here's a quick breakdown of the highlights regarding how it works:

Step four. You'll reach out, apply, we'll discuss options such as when you'd like to have the design(s) done for, whether they'll be flat sales or auctions, and what kind of designs you'd like to do. 

Step five. The designs are created by you, go live, and once they sell, we pay you the agreed amount! 

For our members, Guest Artist sales mean you'll have more opportunities to adopt exclusive Enivi with fancy artwork and unique traits and qualities!

Added Calendar

We've added a Calendar page under Activities in the navigation menu!
When you take a look, you'll probably notice that some of our monthly events have been moved around.

As a small note, this page will never contain spoilers for plots. It's there solely to let our community know what to expect and when. 

Our Road Map

To help with transparency we've changed our Development Watch page into a Roadmap. 
Tony (I) realized that there were times where we (the staff) could communicate a large project to the community but the scale of the project could leave things feeling like they were stalled even while we were working hard in the background. We're still a very small team, so things can move slowly at times, but we are always busy and wanted to let everyone know what we're working on, what stage it's in, and what's going on.

This page should help clarify what stage of development new features are in, what we have planned for the site going forward, and what we're working on.

This doesn't contain things like new items, markings or traits for events or smaller updates to the site, but instead are bigger projects that require larger amounts of planning and development.

We’ve been busy improving our seasonal prompts to make this winter extra special! 

This year, we’ve made sure that our seasonal items are easier to earn, while keeping the rarer items exclusive (like the Candle Light, SnowEnivi, and Snow Sculpture My Sweet Enivi)!
Each prompt has been updated with difficulty rankings, new graphics, and clearer explanations to make sure you’re not only having fun but also getting rewards that are worth your effort.

As your Enivi complete the prompts, they’ll earn Snowballs, Candy Canes, and other specialty gifts to add even seasonal wonder more to the rewards.

We hope the new prompts make the season even more exciting, entertaining, and easy to understand (though as always, if you have any questions we're here for you!)

Enivi all over the land are wrapping up presents and sending them to Prancer for the big event.
You can join in on the fun too!
Just send your gifts to Prancer via the Admin account before December 23rd. Be sure to check out the Current Event page for all the rules and details so you don’t miss out on the big gift exchange extravaganza!

Recent Site Updates

We've made a lot of recent site updates that you might have noticed. These are a little less fun than our seasonal goodies, but overall small improvements that are leading up to bigger improvements;

Cheek Scales have had their name changed to Shiny Cheek Scales.
Firefly Overlay has had it's name changed to Firefly Foreground.
Butterfly Friends Overlay has had it's name changed to Butterfly Friends Foreground.
Common and Rare Color Changing Potions have had their names changed to Common and Rare Color Change Potions.
The "Marking Effects" item category has been deleted, and all marking effects have been moved to the Genes and Markings category. 
The Frost Border Overlay was previously (incorrectly) in the "Special" item cateogry, and has been moved to the correct "Accessory" category.
The "Enhancements" item category was renamed to "Potions", and all potion items were moved to that category (both Mud Masks, Rainbow Potions, etc)
The Regent's Crown item has been updated so it can be used in the character creator by all Enivi bases.
Blue Corn was incorrectly in the "Gardening" item category, and has been moved to the correct "Crafting" category.
A bunch of typos have been corrected in item names, and all items are now properly sized (bee houses are their intended size).
Item categories now display alphabetically.

We're currently working on a long list of all our items, sorting it by rarity, how each item is intended to be obtained, ensuring all items are able to be obtained, and double-checking our shop and resell prices to make sure everything matches up and is fair to our community. We appreciate you all and want to give you the best experience! This is all part of our Shops Update, and we're hoping to have it completed soon so we can be on to the next task. 

We'll also be looking into Sophie, and why she keeps asking for some extravagant items in her quest, haha!

The time has come...

Your Wintery Quest

The time is finally here! Snow is falling all over Eniv. Not just light, gentle snow, but the kind that sticks. The thick snow that's perfect for making snowballs and sculptures!
Forecasts say the snow should last through the weekend, so you'll be able to collect Snowballs through the site!

Who knows what else you'll find laying around in the snow?

But what can you do with all those snowballs? 
Use them to Craft SnowEnivi, of course!

Don't forget to warm up with a nice cup of cocoa or tea from Sophie's Shoppe when you've finished!

Shop Page Update

We had a strange outage with the shop page. We had originally intended to wait to reveal the new shop page and icons until the shops were entirely sorted out, but given the situation, why wait?

You can once again visit Sophie and the Unique Boutique by clicking "Shops" under "Explore" in the navigation menu.

Now, they each have their own unique icon for their shop, and future incoming shops will be added as they're created (which will also take some of the load off poor Sophie). 

Thanks for your patience while we sorted out this issue, and while we continue to clean up our items and shops!

 New Spring Prompts! We’ve added a fresh set of seasonal prompts, some of which offer exclusive, limited-time spring items. Don’t miss out! (More details coming in tomorrow’s news post.)
 Prompt & Quest Page Refresh! We’ve given the Prompt and Quest Page a springtime makeover to match the season.
 Prompt Organization Overhaul! We’re doing some much-needed spring cleaning on our prompts and categories. Thanks very much for your patience while we're getting things organized! (We're actively working on this and don't expect it to take too long! )
The Community Raffle is Live! Get your entries in for a chance at some exciting rewards.
 Beauty Contest Prizes Fixed! The correct seasonal rewards are now being given out, so be sure to enter all season and cast your votes!

Here’s what’s coming next this week:

Sophie is shedding her winter coat! (She’s not thrilled about it, but it’s time to put away the hot cocoa, Sophie.)
Shop Stock Check – We’ll be double-checking all shop inventories to ensure they’re fully stocked with the right seasonal items. (They should be, but we're giving it a double-check as we're making sure all items, markings, and traits are available in-game in some way).
Backlog Review – We’re making sure all EotM and Premium rewards have been properly distributed.

LOOKING AHEAD

Spring is just getting started, and here’s what’s on the horizon:

The Druaesi Festival Returns in April! Expect new prompts and special ways to bring your favorite woodland Enivi into your herd.
Custom MSEs – Tai is catching up on any outstanding custom MSEs from the party. If you’re waiting on one, please reach out to him!
Fishing Update & Item Re-inventory – I’ll be finishing up our item re-inventory to ensure everything is accessible in-game, then shifting focus to the much-anticipated fishing update.

WANT TO HELP OUT?

We’re a small team, and with Keepers of Eniv always growing, we could use a few extra hands (or hooves?). If you’re interested in helping out, we’d love to have you!

We know not everyone wants to take on moderation responsibilities, so we’ve broken our roles into three different teams:

  Enivi Emissary – Keep the community and Discord friendly and engaging! Chat with members, help answer questions, and gently steer conversations back on track when needed.
 Curator – Help process gallery, prompt, and character submissions, making sure Keepers get their well-earned rewards.
 Party Planner – Bring the fun by running mini-events, flash prompts, and games to keep the community engaged.

If any of these roles sound like your kind of thing, take a moment to fill out our application form! Even though Keepers of Eniv isn’t an extremely busy game, we do experience bursts of activity where extra help is invaluable, and we always want to ensure our team members have time to rest when needed.

 Moini on the Move!

The mischievous little spirit, the Moini, is back, and they’ve already started causing trouble!

Keep an eye out for trails of scattered acorns hidden across the site. If you can follow the path, you might just uncover something special.

The trail seems to start over on the Event Page, so you'd better get tracking!

INIVITE A DRUAESI INTO YOUR HERD

Feel called by the forest?
You may be ready to welcome a Druaesi into your herd. Through the “The Forest’s Reflections” prompt, you can earn an Ancient Sprout, allowing you to create your very own Druaesi!

To get one of your own, you’ll need to recreate your Enivi using real-life nature, like leaves, sticks, stones, and flowers. Consider it paying homage to the forest and a tribute to your bond with nature.

Act quick though! Once the event is over, the Ancient Sprouts disappear with it.

Earn Acorns, Discover Lore

Dive into brand new event prompts that lead your Enivi deep into the Dark Forest.

You’ll face ancient spirits, uncover forgotten groves, and explore the magic of Druae’s sacred land.

Completing prompts earns you more Acorns to spend in the Event Shop for seasonal rewards—like the elusive Moini, rare accessories, and even some more foresty traits!
