An exploration of character and expression of the lovely Argo!
Argo is first mate aboard the Courier of Souls, a cargo ship and floating temple run by captain Irisha. They're surprisingly out of tune with the veil, though - and while they can do extremely basic spirit work, they typically have to find soul tenders elsewhere to help with the souls aboard the Courier. They're extremely reliable, but that bubbly exterior slips once in awhile to something less clear. Nothing to worry about, really - it's simply hard to mask some days. Around Irisha, though, Argo feels much safer and can be found unmasked a lot more. During Captain-and-first-mate meetings, sometimes they forgo the typical format for a coloring session in a blanket fort together! Irisha loves to spend quiet, wordless time with Argo during downtime as well, knowing Argo is an excellent friend to do so with.
I did this as a self care piece because I've had a bit of art block lately. Argo, between the game iterations, became very much a representative of myself- and I felt it fitting to do some sketches of them to help me relax.
